Lisa - you will be missed! Much luck to you in your future endeavors. It was a pleasure to watch you on the various shows you hosted. You always presented yourself in a professional, trustworthy manner. And we loved when you showed your fun-loving side also. Your appearances with Leslie Blodgett from BE are a prime example. Best host on QVC. I'm thinking it might have something to do with pay. She is the best, I think brings in the most money and should be highly rewarded. If that is the case, 'shame on QVC.'

I am not sure how much I will watch QVC any longer...she is QVC and could sell me anything. I sure will be saving a lot of money.

I'll miss her - she was easily the most polished and professional of the female hosts (and one of the few who didn't drive me crazy blithering on and on about her children and being a ""busy maahhmm."" (Like only mothers are busy?)

I'm in the minority, but I'm glad. The network needs to change it up and that should start with the hosts. Enough of the phonies trying to be TV personalities, and hire professionals that will describe the products, give sizing info - and hopefully give some of the under utilized pros a chance. I actually enjoy PM Style when Sandra gets to host.

Alsee, you are not in the minority. I'm sorry, but she is only a sales rep. a shopping channel host. Not a star, not even a family member. none of the host are. Her way of getting for attention was to announce b4 the awards. why not on ther christmas show or monday nite.

I am sure there will be many that will not shed crocodile tears and many that will. She should not have announced it before the show.

Did Lisa say where she will be going?

She certainly put her stamp on the regular shows she hosted. I wish her success and will miss her. Lisa is very capable. I can see her doing something else that is related to sales and promotion -- but in an entirely different capacity. Perhaps something managerial in nature.

ETA: Everything comes in 3's, it is said. First there was the unfortunate death of Joan Rivers; now there is the imminent departure of Lisa; who will be the third to go?

Really? She is not QVC! Just a sales person but on tv instead of in a store behind a counter. QVC sales will not hurt in the least

too many self proclaimed suzy homemakers bringing up their families etc when they talk, i will miss lisa

Dont blame QVC! She has not even been on air for her own shows lately. If she is the highest paid host, then she should be on air more.

Lisa is a pretty smart cookie/ She has been on QVC almost 20 years? Maybe it is time to move on, and change directions. Maybe she wants to design, do her own line or be a vendor...who knows. Perhaps she got an offer with another company, or wants to just retire for a year or so.

QVC is in for a lot of changes. They got a new CEO or director? Also, their earnings were really bad the last 2 quarters. Maybe they are changing, and Lisa wanted a change too

Must be hard to show up there, talk talk talk on the air all the time. people bash you, pick you limb from limb. Nothing they do is ever right. They never say the right thing , wear the right hairstyle or right clothes according to many posters.

I would look for a less hostile audience, lol!

SHE IS QVC......are you kidding ? That doesn't speak highly of Mary Beth and the other long-time hosts.

I see some people fell under her spell.

It's past time for Lisa to move on, she's been here for almost a quarter of a century. How long did you expect her to hawk the QVC wares?

This girl looks out for herself very well, and I'm sure for a very long time she has kept herself on the lookout for bigger and brighter horizons for the second half of her career. Surely this is probably the beginning of that opportunity.

She reminds me of Lisa Mason. Getting away before the best holiday, when she can spend it with family or whomever she wants, with no job in the way after all of these year's. Then after New Year's, get on with the new phase in her life !!

Smart move Lisa !!!

BTW, I'll bet you anything we won't be seeing the last of her. I'm sure whatever she does will keep her in the public eye to some extent, as you never make a backwards career move.

This by far not going to be the second half of her career life! The woman is nearly 50 years old. I personally think she is a fool to leave. She makes great money, travels all over the place, doesn't work all that much on air, and basically the channel let's her do whatever she wants. Nice work if you can get it. Not sure what the heck she's doing next but announcing it right before the award show was compketely inappropriate. It's always about her, so no, not crying any tears that she's leaving like so many others are doing tonight.
