I received info from an acquaintance regarding this line. I assume (you know what that means) that it is only sold through those delightful private parties. Anyway, it appears there is much ado over their mascara. Any comments?

I have seen it all over, too. I've read a problem with the fiber in the mascaras is that that can cause blocked tear ducts. I've never used it, but my FB friends who sell it absolutely love it. ;-)

There is a youtube clip about the mascara and there's a number of steps. Your regular mascara, a gel of theirs, their fiber, their gel. Do a youtube search to check it out to see if you'd like it.

I have an immediate reaction to skincare sold in this way. I find it very irritating.

And I prefer one-step mascara.

Seriously, though, I just personally would never get involved in this type of marketing.

I HATE the Younique mascara. I refuse to buy it but several of my friends went to a FB "party." The mascara fibers have a huge fall out, smear all over your face, and are irritating to the eyes. If you check out before and after pics, most of the users look like Tammy Faye Bakker.

The only people who seem to rave about the mascara are the presenters, which says a lot about the quality (or lack thereof) of the product.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. Doesn't sound like something I want to try. It does appear to be very labor intensive. Now, maybe, if I were going to a very special party I might want to try it. Not Halloween going as Tammy Faye Bakker though. I am going to watch the you tube video. I find the make up videos to be very informative on brands and how to apply make up for all different items.

I personally would not use them. I've seen many pictures of users of the product and many of which have "spider lashes" where the lashes clump together. This is just another fiber mascara that has been smart on pushing their product through instagram and facebook through popular and well known "insta-celebrities". I'd recommend tarte or ready-to-wear fiber mascaras over this one. Honestly if I want the falsie look I'd rather wear actual false lashes than have to invest in a 3 step mascara, especially when I still have to use my own mascara still as well.

I got some about a month ago..my local news channel had a deal or dud kind of showing of it, then I watched it on You Tube.. some of the better ones.

If you ever used any mascara that had the fibers as part of it before you know you have to pull the fiber side out slowly, and slowly kind of prime it.

I get great results with a quick light layer of Benefit ~ They're Real mascara, let it dry a couple mins.

Then use the gel mascara, then a careful coat of fibers, then the gel mascara again. I use a steel lash separator or a safety pin to do any separating needed.

I only need to use one application most times....once in a while I will do it twice. I have short straight lashes, and this has given me long lashes.. they still look natural..and I've not had any fall out problems so far.

Just don't go overboard with it.. unless that is the look you want.
