New SSC cleansing brush vs Clarisonic

I must admit I've used Clarisonic for years but this new one from SSC looks tempting. I like the smaller size--a big selling point by Jennifer--to get around the eyes and nose. She was saying it was much gentler on your skin than "those bigger brushes".

It is not the same. It oscillates... is not like the Clarisonic.

If you don't need the cleanser, you may want to check out the original maker of SSC's style of cleansing brush. SSC contracted with a Chinese manufacturer to copy the PoBling by Habalan. Habalan is in Korea. SSC's model looks like an earlier model of Habalan's...

Habalan's newest model is named Premium. You can order it on ebay for less than $25.00. If you go to Habalan.com, you can learn more about their products. Here is a photo of their newest model...

The Foreo is much better, imo for several reasons, including warranty and the fact that the Foreo is waterproof. The PoBling is not truly waterproof. It is rated IPX-5, which means it's Protected against water jets - Water projected at all angles through a 6.3mm nozzle at a flow rate of 12.5 liters/min at a pressure of 30kN/m2 for 3 minutes from a distance of 3 meters.

ETA: I've read several PoBling reviews that mentioned water gets into the battery compartment.

LOVE my Foreo. Never thought I would find anything as great as my clar. Then I tried Foreo.Takes a little to get accustomed too. But now I prefer it to the clar. Do not need to purchase brushes or be concerned aboutcharging. LOVE IT1

thank you for the explanation! So silly to think they'd make something you use around water not completely waterproof!
