DIY RTM vs Regular Version?

I have seen precious threads with a DIY recipe for RTM including the CC, styling cream, oil and water. For those of you out there that have used both...do you notice a difference in performance? I am debating purchasing the RTM duo or making my own version of BGT since I purchased the recent TSV with the styling cream.

I have done a DIY with the TT RTM and actually seemed pretty much the same. The problem with a BGT DIY is that there is still no BGT oil.

When Chaz created the DIY RTM the oils primarily used jojoba oil as the carrier oil plus fragrance. So you could probably substitute golden jojoba oil in for your BGT homemade RTM. - bebe

Thanks for the oil suggestion. I think I will save my pocketbook & try to make my own.
