Skinn Color TSV

Just got to play with my Skinn TSV, I love it!!! Believe me, that illuminating wand really works, I used it in my laugh lines, on one side of my face and it really helped make it look like my lines had faded, I have no idea how this works, but it does! I am loving the veil powder as well, I use a fluffy brush to apply after the serum foundation and blush, it just makes a nice soft focus on your face. And that add on that you could purchase, the 2 lipstick, blush and mascara is a winner as well, beautiful colors. I am also digging the new eyeshadows, they are beautiful! So glad I purchased 2 of these, you will fall in love with this collection!

beautymogul-thx for your review! I did not purchase this kit, but it sounds like winner!!! Equally delighted to read that the new "magic" wand is effective. Plus it's a treatment-not just esthetics.

I got mine yesterday & played with it this morning. Funny, but the illuminating wand is the only item that didn't work for me or that I like. I love the foundation, perfect match in the medium. The veil powder is awesome and you need very little. I used the mauve shadow, great pigment and all great colors. This kit was awesome for the price and almost wish I had got two.

Hi Chi-town. I thought for sure you would get this!! I really did not review it very well for you, but I can't wait for other to review it as it should, I am most excited to see what other think of the illuminating wand. I just can't explain it, I was so wary that it would just be a dud but somehow it does it's magic. Now, it will not pick your entire face up, but it does make the lines less deep. I am lucky in the sense my lines are just starting, not very deep or long so maybe if my skin was not as good as it should be it may not work as well but for me, I am satisfied. I really like the concealer and serum foundation before, so, I will just keep it in my stash until needed. The eyeshadows are spot on for the season, you just can't pick up a palette without any pink or orchid colors, this palette gives the perfect mixture of matte as well as some shimmer, love it. I really do like the veil, I even applied it with the enclosed brush and it still made my complexion look flawless. So glad he put that brush in the kit, I have a couple but now can use them with each product instead of cross-using. I would really like to know what you think of the new stem regins. I just used them for the first time last night, I couold tell the difference in the formulations in all items, nice. Try and use the oil before you apply your foundation, wait 5 minutes, I am telling you your skin will look fab!

Excellent details and suggestions. Much appreciated!!! I use & love Trish McEvoy makeup-not inexpensive...so I decided to pass on this makeup kit and instead bought the Sat TTV plus the 12pc skincare kit that included the VitC. I love the Skinn skincare items-everything that I've tried is a keeper. I do like that Skinn makeup also has treatments similar approach as Trish. Will definitely be purchasing the new illuminator/magic wand. Enjoy!!!

Very much appreciate honest reviews. I happen to love the midnight elixir oil, but its not as universally loved as the serums or the Collagenesis products. So I think there is an element of us needing to try to see what works for us and what we like. Happy to say I've never made a "bad" Skinn purchase or had the need to return anything. Each of his visits, I learn something new about application & usage, and have been selective about adding with new purchases. It's just an amazing product line!!!

It was funny, yesterday when my UPS man delivered I tore open the box to get to that wand, I used it yesterday and felt it did not work...at all, but, today I felt like it worked, that is why I just used it on 1 side of my face. I think it really depends on your skin and where it is applied, that is why I hate to review products, I think that their are a million different results you can get, so, I was surprised this morning when I used it, maybe my face was just swollen from last night, I feel asleep on the sofa, lol. But I really bought the kit for those shadows, I love the shades

Thank you so much for the review! I'm so interested in the wand and the veil.My concern about the wand is that it might be just another highlighter. Is it frosty/shiny at all? Manufactures say "no frost" yet there it is in the product anyway. How about this?

The veil seems to get a thumbs up from everyone so far. I'm looking for something that gives a similar finish to the Plasma stuff (the clear stuff you dab/roll on with a sponge) -- that looks too powdery on me! Hoping the veil might look less so. :-)

WHAT difference could you tell in the Stem Rejens? I was just telling Myshell that I don't care if the new ingredients take the product to the next level or not, I just want them to keep doing what they've been doing to my skin. So you've got my attention - what difference? :-)

Mine won't be delivered until Monday! Dang!

I do not see hilighter, I keep looking during the day but I do not see it. For me, to really give it a chance I want to use if a few more days. for now, I like it but it is hard to put in words, where I noticed it more is the area right below your lower lip, the area that is indented between there and your chin, sometimes that creates a shadow, I put it right on that spot and that is where I noticed the difference the most. So, I know it works but I really think it just depends on what you want to bring out, so, am giving it a few more days to play with. I know I am keeping the tsv, I really did not give the wand much credence, if it turned out bad their is enough great products in the kit for me to justify the cost. I ordered 2, so, I am keeping them. Just cant say enough about the veil, its great! I like it better than bare minerals new veil, I find the bare minerals veil is a lot heavier than this 1, the bare minerals veil really makes my skin look dry as heck, so, am so glad Skinn's version works great!

I have only used the new skincare tsv 1 night, so, way too early to tell, but, they are very moisturizing so far, they smell much different and the texture is different than the old versions. You can really smell the mint in the new lip regen. I have been on the fence about the regens, I find that the other lines within his brand work better for me, so, am not sure if I will keep it yet.

Thanks! It sounds as though the Wand and Veil are at least worth a try. I know we all experience different results, but so far, they sound promising.

My stomach dropped when I read "the texture is different than the old versions" -- boy, I'm hoping against hope I love these as well. Absolutely nothing I have every tried has made such a noticeable difference. I'm bummed I have to wait until Monday. Meanwhile, I'll go check out the "old" versions on eBay in case I need to hoard! :-)

Thx beautymogul for the addtl details. I'm glad to have sufficient stock of the old serums to do a comparison. Hope the changes are positive and truly improvement. Will be looking for customer reviews to see if there is any trend---good or bad?

Will do! I also hope others will post reviews on all items, especially the new ones. Helps me to make future buying decisions. It will take awhile-maybe 2 weeks as SeaGal suggested, to evaluate the effectiveness of the new serums. Plus we need to review product reviews on the other websites to gather more intelligence.

I have been buying his color kits for about 18 months now. Using these kits has kept my ""look"" updated and contemporary. I'm 60 and (although I love them) many of my friends look like they are wearing flour or batter on their face. Watching his shows and buying the products has helped me know what to wear and what to buy! Great prices also!

I sure hope someone from his team is reading all of our comments and he keeps it coming with all of the color kits. I so appreciate kits that have more than brown or plum in them, these colors are not colors that you can't wear in everyday life, the colors are just not runway colors, you can use them in everday life, morning or evening, love them.

For me, he just gives you so much product for such a great price. That is why I am not buying Lauras tsv today, and really I think Skinn has taken a bite out of the vendors on the Q. in the past I never would have not purchased a laura TSV, they keep saying what a great deal it is, well, they need to watch Dimitris presentations, the value, plus 6 ez pays and reduced shipping, and, its great products to boot! QVC needs to re evaluate their"deals".
