WEN Sun screen

I really hope Chaz comes out with one. The physical kind (zinc and titanium dioxide) since I'm allergic to the chemical kind. I want mine in sweet almond or lavender. Well here is hoping!!! I burn very easily and have very delicate skin, so I need a good sunscreen and they can be hard to find. I heard him say he uses Peter Thomas Roth, so I ordered the CC cream with FPS 30 last week. I trust his advice so I went with that brand. It's still stuck in limbo somewhere at a partner delivery site, oh well. But since he is now doing great body lotions and I know that beautiful horse sometimes checks these posts, maybe he'll add this to his list of future goodies for us? Sending some virtual carrots his way.

I'm using the Josie Maran ( untinted) Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF 47 with Sunboost ATB it's a physical sunscreen only.

Thanks for letting me know. I have never used any of her products. I thought she only sold oil and body creams. I'll look into that one as well.

Why? I like that he is cruelty free and only uses good ingredients. I would love to have everything from my hair and skin care with the WEN label, specially if the scents were the same as the SAM and LAV CCs.

I am kind of thinking along the same line as HappyDaze...I am just trying his body lotion as it has such great reviews, but it seems many use it on their face too...would rather see the focus on hair and the body lines....I was even a bit wondering why a separate Men's Wen, except for the change in scents, I am sure they will be wonderful tho...

Well, because I think sometimes when companies branch out too much, their core products often suffer. He does hair and body products really well so I'd like him to just focus on those. I have other reasons too but I really don't want to go into a big discussion about it.

He already includes so many good skin care ingredients in his CCs, that I have been using them (seasonals and 613) as moisturizers with great results. I guess one can hope.

I have asked Chaz several times via social media to please make a sunscreen. I see I'm not the only one. :-) I also have very sensitive skin and I breakout in a rash and hives when my skin is touched by the sun. Chris calls me his little vampire, lol! I'm very pale and try to keep my skin covered because it gets really uncomfortable. I'd love a Wen sunscreen!

I was in the minority too that I want him to just stick to hair and body products and in a way I still am, however, skin cancer is rampant and not just in the hot, tropical climate. A sunscreen is essential in any climate now so if he came out with one, I'd get it. I know skin cancer has been an issue for years but it seems now it sky rocketed. Why, I don't know but it did. I never thought about sunscreen unless at the beach and I don't live in the tropics or the sub tropics but I'm seriously thinking about using a sun screen now.

I absolutely agree. I don't want him spread too thin.

There are a few of us on here that are skin cancer survivors. A year ago I began treatment for Stage 4 Melanoma in my lung & brain. I'm still here - yeah! There are many reasons for the increase in skin cancer - the last generation of not using sunscreens is now being diagnosed, tanning beds, tanning being "healthy", ozone loss, better & more thorough diagnosing, multiple times of being diagnosed, etc.

Sunscreens are a must, but until Chaz enters the skincare field I'd rather he stick to what he does best.

Well, he already entered the skin care field, sort of anyway. With the 613 and the other lotions. I just want one (WEN sunblock) that smells heavenly and can protect my skin from burning so quickly.

I meant like a regular facial skincare system. I do hear you though, a nice physical sunscreen with a wonderful scent is always welcome, especially if the scent is an offshoot of beneficial ingredients.

I agree, many times people who make wonderful products branch out adding more lines until the quality becomes very difficult to manage.

Each of us no doubt has a particular item that we would like to see him create, the list in total would be extensive. For example - I asked him via Social Media to design a book with his gorgeous labels and some of his other personal favorite photographs, 'cause he is an Inspiring photographer, and make them available using the proceeds to support Cancer Research in Animals. Look up the Morris Foundation for more information - it's rampant.

I don't think Chaz would ever settle for less than excellent quality and he has a passion for what he already does. He supports cancer cure / care / research, and NO animal cruelty, perhaps he does not need to personally make the products. IMPO

There are some good cruelty free, skin sensitive products such as Beauty Without Cruelty, and LaVinila (see webbie.) I use OceanPotion which is cruelty free, uva/uvb + A, C & E, and also great for my highly sensitive lupus skin.
