FluffyBear,

How do you dry your hair? My hair is curly but the curls don't seem to be as tight as yours. I don't touch my hair while it is wet or it frizzes and the curl separates, regardless of products. I do find for me that a styling cream works better for keeping my curls clumped together. Other products separate the curls.

I used the CC as a leave in most of the summer and it kept the hair at my crown from frizzing but I recently stopped when my hair was acting up. You may want to try and cut back on the CC leave in and instead use more styling cream or maybe more of the remoist. Of course finding the right styling cream is the dilemma.

I tried the fig styling cream a couple of weeks ago and it was horrible but I also used fig CC and fig as a leave in. It was too much. I gave it another try last night and I could tell my curls were not going to separate by the thickness of the cream. I went to bed with my hair wet (the ultimate frizz test) and my hair is shiny, no frizz, bouncy. My curls are a bit of a mess because my hair was wet when I went to sleep but wow, the hair itself really came out great. Have you already tried the Wen styling creams? The only other styling cream I use is Devacurl (I have tried just about everything). My curls clump together beautifully with it but I am hoping to also love the Wen when I get the formula right. I have a friend who uses the Devacurl Heaven in Hair as a styling cream. It is too much for my hair though and I noticed you said Deva products dried out your hair so you may have tried these already without success.

My hair has been frizzy I don't know what to do anymore because my favorite product that define my curls perfectly and still left it touchable has been discontinued. Everything o have tried has either been drying or not enough hold. I wash whichever formula I feel like using but will include one or two of the following: fig, BGT, TT, 613, or a seasonal. I do remoist once a week and a quarter size as leave in and two pumps of CC as leave in. Also some oil (wen or coconut oil) and a pump and a half 613 SC.Then I would add the Redken Fresh Curls Definer which was a thick leave in conditioner that would perfectly define my ringlets and left it super touchable. I also have a gel that I use once in a while that hold my curls very well but I don't like to use it unless I have an event to go to and it's humid out because my hair feels dry when I rinse it out. I need a product that is gong to hold my curls without crunchiness and that won't dry it out. Any suggestions? I've had no luck with the VTS and the mouse is sort of unpredictable to me.. This is what my hair looks like we just my wen leave in: http://www.britishcurlies.co.uk/images/uploads/NATHALIE_EMMANUEL.jpg http://www.voxteencommunications.org/Pics/Channels/MyStory/BTS2011_hairprofile_laetitia.jpg Nothing is wrong with that look, that's how my hair looks most days but for special events, date nights, ect this is what my hair generally looks like and what I am looking to accomplish again: http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/236x/dc/40/49/dc404962bbe681adbd2f66a0da373296.jpg http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-thing?.out=jpg&size=l&tid=40711312

Fluffy Bear: I saw your picture on the thread you bumped, and your hair is absolutely gorgeous. I really think you are obsessing way, way too much about your hair. My hair is a lot like yours, although the ringlets are about half as tight. I can't imagine doing all that with it! I do use coconut oil and MOA conditioner that I get on sale. I will admit that sometimes it is frizzy and too dry, but I just don't have time to fuss with it many days.

How often do you wash it? I wonder whether all this fussing with your hair is actually drying it out. I wear my hair in layers because it is easier to comb and care for that way.

When I'm going out, I wet my hair and put the MOA conditioner in for a couple of minutes. This allows the curls to re-form, which brings down the frizz. If I haven't wet my hair in the morning, it looks worse. I don't use shampoo every day, though. You could try Rusk Deep Shine Oil or Trader Joe's jojoba oil either when your hair is wet or to just put on dry hair that's frizzy. They both add shine and aren't expensive.

You are absolutely beautiful and, as I said, probably worry too much about your hair.

Didn't work for me.

Oh man I remembered the first time I ever used it, I was like "yeah, okay, gonna use like 4 pumps since my hair is long, no big deal," and I kid you not I didn't see movement in my hair for about a week afterwards

I'm looking for something to essentially clump and hold them together without crunch or that dry feel when u wash your hair afterwards.

John Frieda Frizz Ease!
