topic Curling Iron recommendations needed in Beauty

I'm looking to get a new curling iron. I've had mine since I was 16, and I'm now 33, so it's definitely time. I read a bunch of reviews on different sites, and I'm really confused on what is a good choice. I want a 1 1/4 inch to 1.5 inch. My hair is thick, just below my shoulders, resists curl, and is damaged. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
