QVC Shipping is PATHETIC !

Could QVC shipping department be any more pathetic?????? First I order a Dell Computer which I decided to cancel the next day. QVC told me I could not cancel it as it was already being shipped from Dell. I waited 10 days and nothing. Finally, I called 4 days ago and I got "oh Dell did cancel that but we just did not send you a notice." Nice. And stupid.

And now I ordered a bracelet 10 days ago and the tracking number given was a bogus number. I finally got another number that shows the product was sent to a place in Houston and apparently still sitting there for the past 5 days. This is PATHETIC. What is their problem?????????????

Janet, I've laid off my QVC purchases strictly for this reason. The only reason I can imagine someone choosing to spend their money here versus somewhere else is the sparing offer of "easy pay".

Yup, I am DONE with QVC. What a joke. I have dealt often with HSN and SHOP Q and NEVER had the horrible experiences I am dealing with here.

I get disgusted when you have to wait so long for something to ship. I cancel because I know it's going to take too long to ship. They should have a better turn around as so many big companies are able to ship out in 2 days.

Then you find you can't even cancel because it's being processed to ship (which doesn't even happen for another 5 days).

I ordered several clothing items yesterday which shipped today. Items like computers are shipped by the vendor making them difficult to cancel. They often aren't even manufactured until the order is placed. If you want immediate possession, buy locally. Don't confuse what QVC does with what the USPS or UPS does. Once in their hands, the Q has no control over when you receive it.

I ordered for the first time with QVC on Thursday. It is now Wednesday, almost a week later, and my order still says In Process. What's going on? My EDD is 9/17, one week from today and it still isn't shipping out yet UPS ground. Will it now be here on time?

I have another thread venting about this very subject. On 9/1 my order shipped, but the tracking says it is still In Florence and the CS said I have to wait until the 14th to get a replacement shipped. Today is the 10th. It,s lost and never got out of the UPS warehouse.

On Saturday I got a new mattress. And cleaning under the bed I found an order form from 2 QVC tops I bought. I liked the tops and looked on line and the tops were still available. I ordered some more. They arrived yesterday.

Not all items are shipped slowly.

I ordered the TSV leggings the other day and they're out for delivery today. I find jewelry takes a bit longer. But clothing seems to come fairly quickly. Never tried ordering a computer from QVC.

I ordered on Sunday, received on Tuesday! After years and years of purchasing many BIG and little QVC products, they arrive in excellent shape and timely. I have never had a complaint.

shipping BACK to them is even worse. I returned an item that went from Ohio to 3 other cities before ending up where it gets checked in as returned. CS told me that when we take our packages to the post office, they scan it and then another carrier that QVC uses picks it up and sends it around the country. It took almost 2 weeks to show as returned.

OTOH, I returned something to HSN and in 3 days, I got an email that they had already issued a credit and my AMEX already showed the pending credit.

There are times when no shipping info is not available and I wait and wait and it finally is shipped. Then there are times that I order something and it still says processing and I get it within 3 days. Another time it showed processing and I received it then a week later it showed as shipped 3 days after I received the item!! I usually don't have to return things but I recently had to return a fan that was broken on arrival and boots that were too large and they were returned and replaced very quickly so I can't complain about returns.

I stated earlier about the post office and from what I understand, QVC uses that service that only picks up or leaves at your local post office. The tracking does not show further movement sometimes saying it has been delivered to your PO for days and then without any further tracking movement it's at your front door.

As of now I never had a problem.. I just buy less because of the high shipping and handling. Ordering a computer from QVC takes a little more time then a clothing item. But, I would never buy a computer or any other gadget from QVC.

I just had a package that sat in the Florence SC for a week before it made it to UPS. They need a new shipping system
