Wen replacements

Has anyone switched from Wen due to cost and been happy with a different product? My daughter had just used Wen for a few months and went back to a sulfate free L'Oreal product...very inexpensive and works for her, she's young and has plenty of natural oils. I wash my hair rarely since I stopped working, so our Wen will last me for quite a while, but I've been using it for several years. Before I started using wen. I had mostly stopped using shampoo and was using conditioners as a shampoo-worked pretty well. Just love that lavender smell.

I've recently been incorporating Herbal Essences Naked CC (white bottle) into my routine. It's much easier to rinse out than WEN, sulfate and paraben free, and the scent is much more pleasant (imo).

However, it's not as moisturizing as WEN, so I've been alternating the 2 lines every other cleanse. That, or I use the HE as my first cleanse and then WEN as my second cleanse.

Either way, I'm using half the amount of WEN - which saves me money, of course! The HE is very reasonably priced at $6.99 for 16oz (at Walgreen's). This weekend I stocked up because it was marked down to $4.99!

I'm a little confused- are you looking for something to replace your WEN or you just wanting to hear stories of people who no longer use WEN?

If the former, since your daughter is happy with the L'oreal, why don't you try using that one and see if it works for you?

Out of all the non-wen cleansing conditioners I used I like the Vidal Sassoon CC(drugstore.com) and Biotera ( sallys beauty) the best. I hear renpure has a new ""coconut"" cleansing conditioner and a cleansing ""pudding"" (drugstore.com) thats rumored to be good but have not tried yet but may do so this week from drugstore.com.

Herbal Essences and Pantene CC has menthol like WEN I believe but the pantene smells awful and makes your hair feel filmy. HE is good but not as good as the Bioterra and Vidal Sassoon.

Its not a cleansing conditioner but loreal's everpure is very rich and creamy and decadent. it is so soft and creamy it feels great as a body wash also.

If you ever want to try a super gentle shampoo Hempz is good. Little or no lather and its super concentrated like pureology. Costs as much as wen but lasts much much longer

I've never used WEN, but I do use a few Nick Chavez products. Don't know if you'd call them inexpensive, but they're also not super expensive. At least not to me. I think they're in between, like $22 - $28 and such. Some things cost a bit more though. How inexpensive do you mean, OP? Like between the $16 to $20 range?

I just use any conditioner I have on hand to wash with. When my hair is drier I use a thicker conditioner.
