Hi Tidegirl! I'm Suz, and I'm a WEN-addict. I've been using WEN faithfully for a year now. My hair really starting changing for the better when I started using the re moist and oils on a regular basis. I also love 6/13 (waiting on gallon to re-purchase). I believe my hair (baby fine, thin, limp, and frizzy) does best with TT for the first cleanse followed by 6/13. I get 3 days between washings. Since I'm out of 6/13, I've been substituting BGT, SOM, but I don't get the same great results. I use the oils 3-4 times a week. Usually I use TT, but since I'm out (and trying to use what I have before ordering more) I've been using SHP and SOB. When I re moist, I usually leave it in for the entire day. I also have the infra-red hair therapy 365 iron to use with the re moist. I feel it's a great combination for me. I also really like using the re moist as a leave in. I think my hair really responds good to the "weight" or thicker formulas. Good luck!

Hi. I'm new to the forums and QVC, but not to Wen. I have been a Wen girl almost as long as 6 13 has been around.

I use 6 13 daily and occasionally (not regularly enough) the oil treatments. I have always wanted to try the remoist but never had the extra cash to add it to my order. Thanks to the TSV that will be arriving today I am finally getting my hands on it.

This has me wondering if you use both, how do you decide which to use when? Do you have a regular schedule for alternating or do you choose one based on your hair's needs at that time? Why would you choose one over the other?

I had just ordered a 32 oz of 6 13 when I stumbled across the TSV and discovered the much lower price here than on the salon site. So now I will be well stocked and I know for future reference.

I've read a few pages of posts and now I am curious about the GR offers. Is it worth the price for what you get? There are some other products I would like to try that come with it, I would like to have the travel tubes if they can be refilled and I would like to have some smaller bottles for refilling.

Heaven, help me. 2 brand new quarts and I want more. My name is Tidegirl and I'm a Wenaholic. That's step 1 of 12. Anyone know what step 2 is? (ETA: forgot to mention- I am also eyeing the seasonals. There has to be an end to this somewhere, maybe when the bank account hits 0.)

The oils are for a healthy scalp. The remoist is for repairing the hair. I personally do each 2 times a week.

Hi tide. Welcome to the Wen forum!!!

ReMoist is a deep conditioner. Some also like it as a leave-in. If you use it as a deep conditioner, add a splash of water to it.

The oils can be used alone for an overnight scalp treatment or mixed with your leave-in. Hilary created a thread called Benefits of Oils that has a lot of useful info on the ingredients. Scroll down a bit and you'll see it.

GR is my primary source for Wen! They are much cheaper than QVC, but they don't carry as many products, including the oils. They just started carrying a 32 ounce SAM.

Welcome again!

Welcome, Tidegirl, I'm Okie and I'm a Wenaholic. I think Step 2 is when you have found the ideal combination for your hair or run out of storage space, whichever comes first .

HB is our resident GR expert, but you also should be aware it's an auto delivery program, you can't just order once and be done. Just read the fine print, be aware of what you're signing up for, and you'll be fine. QVC has great deals on TSVs and sets that Chaz brings in for his visits.

I try to use the oil 2-3 times a week and apply to my scalp before bed. They're easier for me to apply and keep up with because they apply to dry hair and Remoist is best used on wet hair. I try to sneak Remoist into my regular cleanse or use it as leave-in, but I'm not as regular about Remoist and the ends of my hair show it. I need to be better about using it on weekends.

Yes! Oil is for scalp and great as a leave in for your ends. Remoist is especially great if you leave in overnight and wash out the next day (you won't have to rewash your hair in the morning either which is a bonus).

You are lucky to be able to use 613 on a daily basis! As you may know, the 613 is "Wen on steriods" with added proteins and amino acids. Many can't use it regularly due to the added proteins. The seasonals and BGT (bamboo green tea) are somewhat similar as far as added amino acids, so your hair should just do fine with them. You can buy here from the Q for any of the fall formulas currently (Fall Tuscan Pear, Fall Apple Spice and Fall Ginger Pumpkin). Chaz will be doing another visit to the Q at the end of the month and there will without a doubt be a set (or two) featuring the fall scents - so you may want to hold off until then for fall seasonals.

I see I found the wrong kind of help for my addiction. Y'all are all just a bunch of enablers LOL. QVC may end up being more expensive in the long run after all, with all the extra stuff I will be ordering. Oh well, I may as well give in a clear some shower- and storage- space.

With GR being an auto ship program, how does that work with the large sizes and extra products? Do you just change your scheduled shipments to that size, or do you order it separately from the auto ship?

Actually Caitlin, the 6 13 was the only thing that would work for my hair when I started. I initially tried all the regular formulas, which at the time were SAM LAV CA TT and Fig. Initially my hair was better, but within a few weeks I was having problems again. So I gave up on Wen, but nothing else I could find was working well either. I decided to give it another try, and at that time 6 13 had come out. It has been doing great for my hair since then. I still have dryness sometimes, but it is still better than with anything else. I am hoping now that my hair is in better shape I can use the regular formulas some too and cut back on my 6 13 a bit. thanks for the tip about the fall formulas. I will definitely be looking for those!

I will definitely be looking for those!

ooohhh lucky lucky you! definitely give BGT a try! chaz is probably going to have a FTP (fall tuscan pear) 3 piece set coming next visit (16oz CC, 1 oz oil & 2 oz RTMist). there's also a big possibility of a 3 CC set of all 3 16oz of the fall CC's (so a set of 16oz FTP, 16oz FGP & 16oz FAS), as well as a FTP mousse & styling creme duo. I am personally waiting on these sets to order, I know many of us are also doing so as well.

the Q isn't always the most expensive - Chaz Dean's website I'd say is the most expensive way to order as far as ordering (single items at retail price) however Chaz's website has the FGP & FAS oil's & RTMist's that the Q will not be selling so that will be the only way to get those. The Q does have all fall scents at a discount right now and with the potential sets coming that will be the cheapest way to try out the various FTP styling products (especially in the 3pc FTP set that will be coming). Chaz's site also will have fall scents on free shipping so if the fall scents prices go up on Q, it might be cheaper to get them that way.

As far as GR, I know you must be on the autoship plan. If I'm not mistaken you must receive the first set (either SAM, POM or LAV), after receiving that you can THEN switch up the products and time frame (every 30days up to 120days). I know they are most limited as to scent and styling product wise, but if you really like SAM, POM or LAV then that would be the way to go. Also in order to make any changes you must call customer service, you cannot do any changes over the internet. HonnyBrown might be able to explain this better as like she said she gets most of her Wen from there.

If you are used to purchasing Wen from the Chaz Dean Site....then the product is exactly the same when you purchase any product from QVC. That's not the case with GR and Sephora. There is another thread that describes the differences.

The best pricing for for Wen on QVC is the TSVs that happen at least 3 times a year plus the June Gallon Month. You can load up and get the auto deliveries of the TSVs which you can cancel or push further out and sometimes reinstate if you cancel. The months of March, end of August and December are when Wen has TSVs. June is the Gallon Month. September/October will be the 613 and in 2015, probably the BGT gallon month. There are also OTOs (one time only) pricing which you will also enjoy as they are usually groups of products during TSV shows and June Gallon Month.

One of my favorite OTOs (which is still available at a higher price) is the 32oz Body Lotion, 4 oz Oil and 4oz remoist. A258096. It was $89.?? at the OTO price and $108.00 is the price it is today which is still a good price.

If you visit the Wen Forum you will get all the information that you need thanks to many wonderful women that participate and provide information.

I have only purchased Wen from QVC.

I am hoping the BGT will show up before one of my AD shipments so I can switch to it. I really want to try that one but it was gone before I found the TSV. I ordered the POM since I haven't tried that one yet.

Sorry, I wasn't clear about the expense. What I meant is all the kits and great deals are so hard to resist that I will end up spending more than just ordering my 32 oz CC and maybe throwing in one more product with the order. I was sick when I saw that the 6 13 I had just ordered for $80 on Chaz's site was available here for $61. I will definitely be watching for those seasonal kits. I haven't tried any of them but I am curious since it seems they are a little more moisturizing than the regular formulas.

Wow Suz, we are hair twins. I also have thin, fine, limp, frizzy hair, and we are maybe the only 2 people on the planet who have hair like that that responds best to heavy conditioners. I'll have to try the TT/6 13 combo. I don't care for the TT alone because it is not moisturizing enough.

(At least they were when I did the math in 2012.) The difference was just a few dollars (for a gallon's worth of the duos). I only canceled my duo shipment and ordered the gallon because there was no duo in the formulas I wanted and because one gallon bottle in the recycle seemed better than 8 smaller bottles.
