I have chin length fine curly hair and I have been using the styling cream for several years. I love it. It is light and keeps my curls bouncing without weighing down the hair at all. I use 1 pump on towel dried hair. If your hair is short try half a pump and go from there. I am sure you will love it.

Good morning, everyone. I'm still very new to the WEN products and have only been using the cleansing creams for the last few weeks. I have very short hair that I wear is a pixie cut and it's naturally curly/wavy but the texture is very soft not coarse at all. In the past I have stayed away from styling creams because they tend to weigh my curls down. I have ordered the TSVs in Sweet Almond and Pom. My question is how heavy are the styling creams? I'm really excited about the styling spray. TIA.

My hair is about the same as harley2932. Maybe a touch longer, but fine and naturally curly. I put 1pump of styling cream into my palm and then spray 5 sprays of the Volumizing treatment spray and mix those together then apply to my hair. My hair loves it! I used to be afraid of products because everything pre Wen would weigh my hair down. Not Wen! I think you'll really enjoy this TSV. You definitely can't to the right place, lol! The ladies here are so helpful.

I also always use the styling cream. Although, I didn't buy this when I started using Wen but used other styling products that I had purchased prior to Wen.

You've actually ordered formulas that are universal so that's a fine place to start. Chaz always says you can't use too much cleansing conditioner but you can use too much of the styling products so be careful. Apply it to wet hair. For a pixie haircut you probably only need a pea size amount. Try mixing you SC with a few spritzed of the VTS and then apply. Something about mixing them makes it lighter than just doing the SC alone.

I have a lot of hair, but it's fine and curly. I used to have the same problem with products weighing my hair down. Not with Wen styling cream or mousse!
