What's Everyone Think of the New 613 Body Lotion?

This morning I was just browsing and saw the pear in 32oz. and was thrilled so I got that on auto delivery. By the way, does this mean I'm on for the other 32oz. seasonals? If anyone knows please let me know. So anyway, something said pull down further and see if there's anything else and I did and saw the 613 body lotion. I immediately got one. I've been waiting for this. I was wondering,.....is anyone else as thrilled as me on this? I know many were looking for the oils. Maybe there'll be some more 613 surprises and I'll get them as they come out but this one was my dream come true along with the EDT. Also, I saw the thread about the poor unfortunate person who was using body lotion mistakenly for cleansing conditioner. I've done this too but I knew I had made the mistake as soon as I had done it. I laughed at myself but the person who posted that review was right. Chaz should make them different because they look so much alike a mistake like that is easy to make. On the bottle the name of what it is, is very small so you have to take time to check it carefully but when one is in a hurry, well..... Please let me say I hope everyone is in good health and happy. I have a challenge but i'm getting by step by step. Reading the posts here gives me solace. Thanks for all the information and laughs. Love to all. xxxooo

If you purchased the 32oz FTP on AD you'll receive one more shipment of FTP. If you want to change the 2nd shipment to another scent you can try calling or emailing CS. I'm not sure if changing it is an option but it doesn't hurt to try. The fall seasonal AD is a total of 2 shipments so no you're not on AD for the other 32oz seasonals.

Yes, I am one who has been looking forward to the 613 body treatment. I was lucky enough to try a small amount on my arm when I was at the salon a few weeks ago. The scent is spot on (at least to my nose) and its non-greasy and absorbs quickly. I think the 613 EDT will layer nicely over it.

I was excited to see the body lotion too, but seems a bit pricey. I love my Josie body butter and it's much cheaper. I went ahead and got the TP in 32 oz and got the TSV. I'm hoping for OTO on the lotion this weekend and then might get it.

I may try the body lotion at some point. I just bought a TON of lotion at the Nordstrom anniversary sale, so I won't need this for at least a year if not more.

I agree. I can't justify spending $60 on a body lotion. It may be a great product but too expensive for me. I like using the 613 cc and am looking forward to a 613 oil, but not sure that I would like it as a body lotion. I also didn't order the 613 cologne for this reason. It just isn't something that I thought I would like as a fragrance.

My favorite summer fragrance is calyx. Not sure that anyone is familar with this fragrance but I have used it for years. It is a very citrusy fragrance that compliments the pink grapefruit scent that I use most often for shower gel, body lotion, body butter, and body oil.

Look at the ingredient list to see what you're paying for. The first ingredient is water. The second ingredient is Cyclopentasiloxane. From dermatology review.

I'm going to pass on it. There too many cheaper options out there. Plus, I have too much lotion anyway. I just started using the Fig lotion from OTO only yesterday.

I have been using a pump of the 613 CC and a pump of the 613 treatment mist as a perfume and love it. I will NOT pay 60.00 on body lotion.

The ingredient deck in this body treatment is amazing!! It even has dragon's blood extract! How cool is that, lol! I just googled it and found out that dragons blood extract is very rich in antioxidants and helps to heal the skin. It also said something about that it could possibly inhibit cancer cells. Interesting.

Unless it cures cancer, I also can't justify $60 for 8oz.

I am as well disappointed that water is the first ingredient. I agree that he could've done better on that front, especially for the price point. Thankfully I am stocked up on JM body butter so I do not have to splurge on this. More $$ towards the fall seasonals!

Honesty, I was a little bummed with this "new" product. I feel like there are so many body products out there. This one just doesn't seem to be too interesting to me, but maybe it is, I don't know. Unless it radically transforms my skin into a poreless baby's, then I can't justify the price. Even then, it's a stretch. lol

I thought the "Nourishing Body Treatment" was a cream type product. Is there a lotion coming too? Either way, for $60, I'm passing. There are scads of options out there for lotions, creams, and body butters that cost far less and yet work quite well. Croemer, I think you might be on to something.

I think it's high too but I figure that money will be here when I'm gone. Those pearls of wisdom were from my dear departed friend. Anyway, dragon blood extract, if it does inhibit cancer cells well, I hope so since I just had to have a biopsy. Don't have the results yet. I had an injury then a swelling. Got jabbed badly dead center in the you know where because I was balancing a pizza box and it was very hard corrugated cardboard. It knocked the wind out of me and I doubled over. The door did not open when I was walking out of the store. It's double doors and they were not installed properly. Anyway, Bruingirl said she tried it and it smells just like the 613 cleanser, I hope it has staying power but I could not pass it up. I've been hearing about cannabis oil and it works miracles for those bad things people can get. Thank you, everyone for responding to my thread. xo like I said it gives me solace. You guys are great. I'm passing on the 613 body cream as well. Since I'm very sensitive to fragrances, I couldn't stand 613 all over my body. I currently use a fragrance-free body lotion and a perfume just on a few areas, which is much easier for me to control. Besides that, I'm sure a cream would be too hydrating for my entire body, and not rich enough for my dry areas. I use the Remoist on those dry places and it works better than any other body creams/butters I've tried.

I was considering trying this, but when I saw the price I decided not to. That is a high price for 8 ounces! I use Josie Maran body butters which work especially well. I love all her scents and her 13.5 oz. (I think that is the correct size) was $43.00 when she had it available on QVC and is $48.00 on her website. I think I will just stick with that, because it works and it is so moisturizing. I do have the 613 fragrance (which I purchased as OTO) and love it and also have the Replenishing Treatment Mist is 613, which I like as well. I will stick to those two 613 products for now. Maybe once Chaz brings out more 613 products he will do a kit with a mix of products for a more reasonable price.

The more I think about it, the more IMO he jumped the shark with that price. It's even making me reconsider staying with the line, although I still have probably 6 months CC supply on hand. I ended up canceling my TSV orders last night too. It's so easy to get sucked into the excitement but I have about 4 gallons of CC in my shower at the moment and plenty of remoist and SC and I certainly don't need more volume in my hair. I'm normally trying to reduce volume lol.

I agree that the price is totally insane. I would jumped in it if it was less than $40, and even that would be an "expensive" body cream. I don't get why or how a body cream could be described as "groundbreaking". Groundbreaking to me is something no one had ever done before., so if that's what the new product that all the hype was about I'm really disappointed. I won't go as far to say that I'm straying away from wen bc wen has changed my life (hair wise) but it does kind of leave a bad taste in my mouth bc I feel like people are being over charged. And like I said in another thread, I might just be bitter bc I didn't get my oh so wished for oil
