topic O/T Blood test for chemo effectiveness in Beauty

Sorry, I know this is off topic, but I also am painfully aware of how many beauties on this board have gone through or are currently undergoing chemo.

My aunt had heard that there was a blood test that can be done to determine whether or not chemo is "working". She is wondering what the name of the test is and I tried to Google it, but came up empty.

Do you know?

I realize blood work is done during the treatment process to make sure that counts are within range, but she seems to think there is one that can tell if chemo is doing what it's supposed to do.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!!
