So I've tried my Glow Pads once so far. It was Wed. night. Since my skincare line {md Formulations} has quite abit of 'actives' in it to begin with, my first time using these isn't going to tell me much - or so I thought!. I didn't think I'd be able to differentiate what the pads may be doing. And now its Fri. 2 days after my first use and I've literally had to peel of tiny 'sheets' of skin off around and on my nose area. NEW skin! underneath! {and I really needed this too. I'm being serious.}. Usually if I try something new and it will be something that will break me out, it shows up on day two. That would be today and I had no breakouts or additional congested skin. Far from it.

While using them I did feel some small amount of tingling/stinging. This is normal. I'd felt this before. These pads are similar to Dr. Gross's pads, Philosophys Miracle Worker pads, PTR pads {as seen in Sephora} and even a pad in the mdFormulations line >>>>> Smooth on one side, textured on the other and size is about the same. {I am not speaking to the ingrediants of any of the pads I just listed out} One of the things I like best about our Glow Pads here is its a one step process. Unlike Dr. Gross's which is a two pad process. One with actives then one to neutralize them and finish the process.

The fragrence was light, not over powering. I had to put my nose to them to smell any. The pads I received were pretty saturated with product. When I pushed my finger down on the full stack in the jar, some liquid did appear at the bottom. I did not find any stickiness to my skin while putting this on nor afterwards as I let it dry. Like any of the pads I've mentioned, while using the Glow Pad it did slip a couple of times in my fingers creating it to sort of 'bunch up' but since I was used to this, it wasn't a surprise and easily remedied. It dried well and smooth. Again no stickiness. Continuing on with my night regime I found everything to work very nicely, as usual. Serums didn't roll up, soaked in and mositurizers completely soaked in too. Ahhhh my face, my skin...felt goooood. It has since Wed. night too. I also need to add that my skin looked better right when using them that I never experienced with all the different pads I wrote above for comparisons. It took a couple of weeks for the Dr Gross pads to show any results. Phil MW wasn't a strong enough retinol for me. I didn't notice any difference using retinol until after some time on PTR's Retinol Fusion. Lost a few freckles and a larger brown spot that used to plagued my right cheek with what ever blush I was wearing that day, and still scream I'm here!!! hahaha. Its completely gone now and that took 10 months I think when I noticed it.

Now to address some of my skin 'peeling', that started off in this post. This could also be because of the actives in my existing program and my adding in the Glow Pad may off taken some of my skin finally to 'this point'. Little areas that were really 'dead' and thats why a bit of a sheet of skin peeled off. This happened in 2 areas of my nose only. Unfortunately I can't speak to how these would work on me any different unless I switched over to my au natural regime for a longer period of time then I do use it. Thats on the weekends to give my skin a break from actives in mdFormulations {used M-F}.

I'm looking forward to using these again. Right now I may consider trying them in a twice a week mode. Once during the week and once on a weekend. I don't think my skin could take it more than that right now even tho its pre-disposed to 'actives'. I'd also be hesitant to try this. Just like over exfoliating becomes harmful, so would over doing it on using these Glow Pads.

And I'm very pleased. I like how my skin looks. It does seem brighter and has a radiance now even after the 2 days I waited to post on them. I also know that I am needing alot less Foundation these days and thats been wonderful. I believe using the Glow Pads will continue to develop my skin into a healthier one that it hasn't been in a long long time.

How are the rest of you girls fairing with these hmmm???
