Fall Winter Fragrances

Who is in your fragrance rotation in the Fall / Winter? I have a lot of fragrances that feel spring or summer to me - but I could use some recommendations for the rest of the year. One winter fragrance I like is Thierry Mugler Alien - it smells a little cashmere to me.

I always wear Burberry Classic in the fall and winter months. It's warm and delicious. I always receive many compliments when I wear it.

For something sweeter, I love Pink Sugar. It's a fragrance you either love or hate, but I love it. I just walk through a spray of it (too much is overkill) and I'm good to go. This is another one I receive compliments on.

I've already stocked up on BBW's Cashmere Glow products -- the fragrance just makes me feel warm and cozy. I used to wear a very expensive fragrance until I got a whiff of Cashmere Glow.

I love Pomegranate Noir by Jo Malone for fall/winter. Honestly, I really do not think it matters. Sometimes it's nice to smell like spring in winter!

Love this one as well. My absolute favorite BBW fragrance for colder months is Brown Sugar & Fig (only available online though). Japanese Cherry Blossom is another nice one.

I also have Origins Ginger and that is nice anytime of year - if you like ginger and citrus.

I have learned so much, you type in the name of the fragrance and it will tell you the notes and the KEY thing is other scents that smell similar.

I have so many fragrances that because I did not KNOW the notes, and was just buying what I like...some of them are so close. don't make my mistake, also the fragrances have reviews, which I have learned the hard way...that just because a fragrance is expensive that does not mean that it lasts when wearing it.

I love Jo Malone but I don't find her scents long lasting. I also purchased a Tom Ford that also did not last long.

I'm going to be using Harajuku Lovers Love. It's very floral and not something I would wear normally. And to be honest I bought it because I love Gwen Stefani and the bottle is so cute! But I smelled it on someone else and it was very pleasant so I will use it this fall and winter.

I'm not a perfume everyday girl anymore, but watching Marilyn Miglin on HSN today made me think of how much I do like the scent of Pheromone as the temperatures dip. On me the the components of the original version wear very warm and musky.

I like spicy orientals in the cooler weather. What I usually do is go to the fragrancenet website, and choose one or two to try. So - I have several on the shelf that I alternate. When I'm running low - I'll buy a couple more.

I like to wear patchouli based fragrances and I fall I like Fancy Nights (Jessica Simpson).,It is a total patchouli bomb..lol. I spray it lightly but I love it a lot.

I like /love Pink Sugar, and have received many compliments on this. I use the spray fragrance, lotion, and the hair perfume. I like Cashmere Mist, Falling in Love, and Amazing Grace Whipped body creme.

I also love Jo Malone Dark Amber & Ginger Lily. I tried a number of amber scents last winter and this is by far my favorite. It also lasts without being cloying. I often wear it to bed even in summer. It feels like an exotic hug. I sleep well in it. I will use it days in fall and winter. I also love Tom Ford Black Orchid. Both are a little heavy/heady but lush, exotic, luxurious with out being "too much".
