OT- those darn HSN hangers! lol

Since the original post is gone where we were all discussing our love of those huggable hangers, lol, I wanted to post something about them. I thought it was weird- I ordered two 24 packs of just the shirt hangers, one in burgundy one in the dark brown color. The dark brown one shipped the next day I ordered and the burgundy one shipped today. Why would the same thing just in different colors be shipped separately? Is that normal for HSN?

Could just be something as simple accessibility in the warehouse, staffing, etc. I ordered turquoise for DD and they arrived today. Speedy.

There were some sets on clearance the other day and a 20 percent off coupon, since expired, floating around. The clearance prices are still very good.

Was it shipped from the same warehouse? I know sometimes one product is one and the other somewhere else. But I agree with what BellaCarro said. I order from HSN frequently and they very rarely ship in multiples, usually just one box, also fast shipping. Now the Q on the other hand, that an entire different story. I have ordered numerous times and none of my orders have ever shipped in one box. Super annoying.

MermaidKelly- Joy is on every month, so if not this month then she will soon. Many of her sets now have free shipping, also there's 4 different big sets on clearance right now as well.

I don't have an answer for you, HD - but wanted to add that those hangers are addictive once you get started, aren't they? My entire closet in done in the Wedgewood Blue (not even sure if they still offer that color). And even though I am amply covered - I still have to convince myself not to buy more in another color, just to "freshen up" the look of my closet.

At the time, I ordered the Wedgewood because it was a neutral. But now I wish I had chosen a jazzier color that would make my closets pop!

IMO, this is as good as any TS they ever have. They have some other sets on sale/clearance that come with all the hooks and such, but personally, I just want the hangers.

yeah not sure about a TSV but the prices are reasonable as is and google for coupon code of some amount for even better price. And free shipping- imagine that!!

Colonel Meow- they ARE addicting and I want all the dark colors, lol! I thought I was sticking with dark brown and dark green but those dark burgundy were pretty so I had to get some of those too, lol. It will take me forever to exchange out all my closet with them but I am on a mission, lol! I should have just order a mumbo jumbo size and get it over with but I didn't for some bizarre reason.

See, this is where I went wrong, though! I originally ordered 3 or 4 jumbo sets that have lasted for at least 4 years, even as I continued adding and/or rotating clothes. (I still have plenty of unused hangers still in the boxes!)

I bought so many at one time because I anticipated that the color may be discontinued one day and I wanted my entire closet to remain uniform for as long as possible.

The problem is that now I will never have any reason to purchase more in another color because I'm set for life, probably (lol)!

These are great hangers. I bought a couple sets when she had the last TS Hanger kit in May. It was a good deal. 40 dollars + free s&h, 3 flex pay. Item 330-394. The extra goodies do come in handy. Love the closet caddy, the cascading hooks & pant clips. After reading a closet organizing tip, I decided on a neutral light color-a nice tan/khaki color. We moved three years ago to a bigger house when I found out we were expecting. I had all of my closets organized with everyone having their own hanger color. I have no clue what happened but now everyone has a variety of hanger colors.

yes!! I think I just didn't want to go for the biggie because I liked several colors and didn't want to be married to just one or two, which is essentially what I'd do if I ordered the biggie!

Oooh I forgot about my coat closet! I will have to think of what color I want to do for the coat closet!

I just received 2 packs of these. I just use the shirts hangers, nothing else, no pants hangers or clips etc.

They are very addictive & now I find myself in a bit of a dilemma: In anticipation of retiring in the not-too-distant future, I'm slowly trying to downsize. Yet I already had 2 big sets of the hangars & just recently bought another 2 sets. Duh! What was I thinking? I wonder if my family members would be offended if I "gifted" them with some hangars this holiday season? Maybe I could sweeten the gift by attaching a nice big bag of homemade goodies?

Mine should be delivered tomorrow! Which means I'll be switching out hangers tomorrow evening. sometimes HSN ships things weird. I've had that happen before. I also wonder if one warehouse had it but was further away from you, so it took longer? Your guess is as good as mine. I ordered the brown, too. I wanted black, but they didn't have the set I wanted in that color. I'll survive.
