I was watching a video of a girl trying Holika Holika Petit BB cream out for the 1st time. She was loving it and came back at the end of the day and was still in love. I looked it up and it was only $5.99 on ebay, so I figured what do I have to loose. It's SPF30++. It has amazing coverage and you can layer it, if you need to. I got the face clearing one, so I put moisturizer on underneath. I patted on extra on my spots and my face looks flawless. I can't believe something so inexpensive could be so nice. It comes in 5 different types.

What Korean Beauty products are you using?

True Skin Nutrition Age Defying Pearl Powder (actually made in the USA, but based on oriental theory) - been using off and on for over a year
Dr. Young Camellia Cleansing Oil - LOVE it a lot.
DHC Cleansing Oil - didn't like it (good thing I only bought a sample bottle)
Fleur de Lis Rice & Papaya Enzyme Powder - use it daily except when I use Cure Aqua Gel. The vanilla scented is the best, IMO
Cure Natual Aqua Gel - LOVE, have been using it for over a year
Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream - good coverage, but I like IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream better
Lioelle Gel Powder Foundation - thought I liked it at first, but it ended up exaggerating my pores so I gave up on it. (anyone need it in honey beige, let me know)
Mizon Multifunction Snail Recovery Gel Cream - I wanted to love this, but I broke out with a big hard deep zit on my chin within a couple of days. I haven't had one of them in ages so I attributed it to the product. I might give it another try sometime, to be sure.
Mizon Multifunction Snail Repair Eye Cream - have only been using this a couple of weeks, but I like it.
Mizon Collagen Power Firming Enriched Cream - received as a gift (Thanks Katluvr) - thought a cream was too heavy for my face so I'm using on my neck after my AHA product. I like it an it seems to be working on my trunk line/tree ring, whatever you call it.
Skinfood Pomegranate Volume Serum - received as a gift. I've only tried it twice, but I liked it. Think I might order some.

The only Korean product I tried and liked enough to keep using is Missha Perfect Cover BB cream. Liked it enough to use for some years now so that should say how much I like it!

Everything else I tried (BB or CC creams) I wasn't wowed by and never repurchased.

I use the PC when I am going to be outside for the SPF 42, but I really prefer the CBY (SPF 30) for coverage, texture, etc.

I get even more coverage by using a powder foundation on top. Right now I'm using Elizabeth Arden Pure Finish Mineral Powder Foundation. It comes in a shaver container, like Smashbox Halo. I like it, and I got a good GWP with it.

Snail Repair Cream by Mizon, ok but did not do much for me. Skindfood Pore Peach Sake (very nice, mattifies and makes pores smaller), Holika Holika Magic Pore Pact in #1 (love), Lioele Gel Foundation #1 (my HG), Missha Line Filler Foundation in #21 (#2 HG), Missha eye shadow and liner stick (love), one side is powder shadow and the other is a liner. LOVE Missha lipsticks, they are very hydrating and my lips are becoming lineless. Missha Sun Milk, ok but not anything to write home about. Skinfood Aloe SPF, ok but my skin is not very fond of it. Missha MU setting spray, nice but when I use the Lioele Foundation I don't need it. Missha Boomer (primer) ok, more like a cream than our primers that tend to be gel like. I tried the Pomegranate Serum but it was a bit strong for my skin. Skin79 SPF 50 and pore cover is nice although a very pale lavender color. I've tried a liquid Vit C Toner which is ok but it didn't do much for Vit C. I've tried samples of Skin 79 (don't like), BRTC BB (nope), Etude House and Missha Blemish Patches (like these), Etude House Baking Soda Face Wash (like but drying), Mizon Peptide Cream (nice and not too thick). Missha Rose Hand Cream and Argon Oil Hand Cream. I just re-ordered the argon oil one because I love it. The Rose one is kind of weird feeling. Not dry, not sticky, not too thick but very clingy. Most of my purchases are from roseroseshopdotcom and ebay. I love roseroseshop because they have many products and good prices the down side is that they charge shipping. They have 20%-80% sales with daily deals as well. I am currently waiting for 3 lipsticks, a lip liner, eye shadow/liner in Bronze Rose and oil absorbing papers.

Do you have a stippling brush? I use my Real Techniques Stippling brush to apply the Lioele. I put it on the back of my left hand, tap the stippling brush in it and then tap it around my face. If I don't use a stippling brush, it settles in my pores too.

I take a powder puff or sponge and tap my face after applying. If the brush doesn't work try that.

Holika Holika has a Luminous BB cream with a higher SPF with whitening properties, for drier skin. I'm pretty sure I read about this somewhere.

Anyone if us drier girls try this?
