It celebration foundation "vs" bare minerals.

Can anyone tell me which has more covedage, and which settles less in large pores. TIA.

Since Laura Geller is on haute Look, I figured I would throw Balance and Brighten into the mix as well. I need a powder during these summer months and in early fall when it is still warm and my skin gets combo. I have BE and I like it but, I need more coverage. ALso, I would prefer something that accentuates my pores and lines less.

Forgot to mention, Still experience minor break outs so, it would have to cover that.

I have not tried Laura Geller products. Between It and BM, It would definitely give you better coverage. I think the settling into pores might be an individual thing, but I don't have any issue with either one. The trade-off, IMO, is that with Bare Minerals I feel like I'm not wearing any foundation at all. With It Celebration foundation, I really don't like the way my skin feels, although I put up with it for the outstanding coverage.

Thanks SUZEECAT, I had a feeling that may be the case. I like the feel of BM too. However, I do need the coverage. Hopefully the IT won't make me break out. BM doesn't, so I think I am all set.

They are all good.

IT may be the best coverage, but the colors aren't great. Balance 'N Brighten is very light coverage, but never looks cakey or settles. The marbled way the colors are mixed allows for more range in matching skintones too. For skintone matching Bare Minerals is probably best. Over the years BE has loyal followers who love it for the fact that they find it covers as well as liquid/cream full coverage foundations, but without the weight and obvious look of makeup.
