topic How much does the InStyler break the Wen golden rule of no-heat?? in Beauty

I'm assuming that the InStyler is an iron and there's just no way around it, so it breaks the "nothing hotter than what you can do to your skin" rule. I definitely don't want to wreck my hair all over again after I just fixed it with Wen! Then again this doesn't seem to press right on your hair as much as a flat iron...

Any thoughts?? Also, I'm taking about over-time damage, not just a few weeks. How does your hair fair after 5 or 6 months?

I have course, thick, hair that seems to break easily, but the breaking was before Wen. But blowing it straight takes forever and still isn't very straight so I've been thinking ab the InStyler for a looong time. TIA
