What extactly is a cream to powder foundation ?

It comes in a compact. It looks creamy in the compact, it goes on like a cream but has a powder finish on your face.

I use Lioele Gel Foundation which is a primer, foundation, concealer and powder all in one. It is my HG. After you've applied it the foundation turns into a powder finish.

It is more matte than dewy. Although to be honest it looks like my skin but better. It is very natural. I can even use it as a concealer with some powder and call it a day. I've been home all day and I noticed a red spot on my cheek and I tapped some on it and no more spot. Love this stuff. Also a little goes a long way.

It doesn't always come in a compact. The Benefit Big Easy cream comes in a tube.

Okay, I'm editing and not asking a question for which you gave the answer in your post. But what's the PA rating? I'm not seeing zinc, but Titanium is a PRETTY good UVA sunscreen

The one I got had the highest PA rating (my number one criterium) AND had the snail slime which I wanted to try. Didn't really like it. It was the Super Gold Snail BB.

I could be wrong but I think it is SPF 37. If I am going outside I add some Holika Holika Powder and that has the zinc and TD. I don't need it as a mu but for the sunscreen. Also the Holika Holika Loose Powder is SPF50 and it's pale pink.

You can get samples on ebay, look up Lioele Gel Foundation or at lioeletexasdotcom. Although I can't find a lot right now in English. I'll edit if I find out more.

The one in the jar is for oily skin and they have a moisturizing version in a tube with SPF30+++.

I use Merle Norman creme to powder foundation and I love mine also. It is the first foundation I have ever used that matches my skin. And, mine comes in a compact. Unfortunately, MN has stores in areas that may not be convenient for everyone. I get mine when we babysit our grandchildren at the local place because, in cow country, where I live, we are lucky to have a market.

I just got a sample of this today, there is someone I know who gives me the gifts that MN does, there are some nice products.

Covergirl Aqua Fresh. Comes in compact, moderate coverage. Plenty for me but doesn't cover friend's light sprinkle of freckles. Took forever to find something that was right shade. I'm very fair and pink. Use it in winter. In summer switch to sunscreen and BE. If you go to Cover Girl website they'll help you find a color. Used to use MAC but like this better. Price not an issue for me when it comes to foundation.
