With all the air time Philosophy gets one would think they could take a minute to tell "x Philosophy loyalist" that they sold the company and why the products aren't like they use to be. Never before have I felt betrayed by a company as I do now.

That's unrealistic, sadly. It's more about profit than ever now, and they're not going to explain that formulations were altered to be able to make more money. I'm guessing they'd claim that the new formulations are BETTER! That's why it's up to us to learn and share what we can.

I'd love a caller to ask that question on air, though, just to see them tap dance.

I know how you feel but unfortunately, no company has done that, nor will they ever do that. They will claim they are the same products as they always were or "reformulated" to make them better, which we know is almost never the case.

I can tell you feel strongly about this, so please don't take offense to these questions (they are not intended to be adversarial). When has any company done this, and why would they? Companies are bought and sold all the time, resulting in changes to the product. Philosophy is no different.

Colonel Meow, No offense taken. I was being sarcastic. I realize in the real would that would never happen. Wrote the post in a moment of weakness understanding if they haven't listen to us by now...probably never will. Oh well, don't have to give my money to them anymore at least. Thank you for your kindness in your reply though. That was refreshing.

I am so surprised this hasn't happened in the few years I've watched. But I suppose QVC has a delay or something for callers so they can "drop" the call if a caller starts going down that roard. Don't you think?

The only way to communicate with most companies is to stop buying their products; the message is received, loud and clear! I have been surprised how many other bath products are out there and are as good or even better than Philosophy...and much less money also.

I get your frustration too. I loved the FIL and GRACE kits sold. Perfume, body lotion, bath wash, etc. they were some great kits. It took me several purchases and returns to figure out that I didn't just get a bad batch. It was all bad. Formulations changed, and the original was not coming back.

Lovesrecess (or anyone else), which ones do you feel are as good or better than Philosophy? I haven't been able to find anything I like as well. I quit using Philosophy because they test on animals and am now using Bath & Body Works.

I agree and after using Philosophy for many years I jumped ship. I found something much better at a comparable price.

When I heard about the reformulation of my longtime fave serum WHINE & that the company was sold I stopped my AD on the serum. Major withdrawal! I got into Josie's Argan Oil & skin responded greatly. I still had numerous Philsophy items on AD though ---- I started reading reviews on the 'new' products & many were negative especially regarding fragrances not lasting or smelling different. One item I got still on AD (body lotion) was NOT THE SAME as before. One by one I cancelled most of the Philosophy items I'd used for years. I've kept only Three products which I get great results from: The Great Mystery and Microdelivery Peel Pads. I'm almost out of my SuperSize Purity cleanser though and I wonder if any of you use the new formula with good results & believe it's the same formulation??? If not which facial cleanser would be similar?? Ive used Purity for 7 years & never thought of changing until now. Thanks.

Yes. I agree! I have ordered 3 containers of either Pure grace body cream or lotion and none of them even have the Pure Grace scent, I am done with the company and I didn't even buy them on this sight.

Is that what it is? I just made my first and last purchase. It barely had any scent, and absolutely no staying power what so ever.

Had to find a different cleanser a few years ago when the Purity got watered down. I now use Dr. Perricone's gentle cleanser for sensitive skin. Lathers nicely, rinses cleanly and doesn't hurt if it gets in your eyes.
