Acrylic Makeup Organizers under $200?

Hi all,

Anyone know where I can get any specials or coupons on Acrylic Makeup Organizers?

Those are the really beautiful and spacious clear cube organizers for makeup.

My daughter is DYING to get one for her birthday, and I really want to find one for her, but I cannot find them anywhere.

The best known site I found searching Facebook (their page is "AcrylicMakeup") or www.AcrylicMakeup.com , but I have never worked with them before and they don't have a location in my area.

The only other sites are www.TheClearCube.com (over $400 a pop) and www.SherrieBlossom.com (over $350!).

This is going to be a huge purchase for me, so I want to be sure with my decision. Anyone had any luck with these?

Think it is safe to buy online?

I found several online, just now, doing a Google search for "makeup organizer" then Google shopping. Maybe by looking for "acrylic" you are limiting the results that might come up under "plastic", "clear" or other. Good luck!

You can find much better deals out there. Check out acrylic drawers from The Container Store website. I also bought a set of drawers from MUJI. JMHO, though, it's kind of a personal choice, how someone wants their stuff to be organized. What you think it a good acrylic drawer set might not be the way your daughter wants to have her stuff arranged. Granted it wouldn't be a surprise when she opens it, but if you're spending a chunk of cash on this kind of thing you might want her input as to the style/size/configuration she's looking for.

Does she need it to be acrylic? I know they're nice because you can see what's inside and can sit on a desk, but Ikea has many more affordable storage systems that a lot of beauty bloggers and youtube beauty people use.

You can find a LOT of videos about makeup collections and the Ikea Alex 9-drawer. Here's one video of a young woman who uses an Ikea Alex 9-drawer with some smaller acrylic organizers (in the $20-30 range) and a Malm desk as her vanity. A lot of women use the Malm and Alex pieces.
