Anyone use the Proactiv + with great results?

I asked this question when it first came out and there wasn't much feedback. I only got reviews for the original Proactiv.

I use Murad and it works for me. However every time I see the add for the P+, I am tempted to try it.

I used to think that if I found something that actually worked for my adult acne, I'd be forever grateful and I wouldn't change as long as it is working. I don't know why I have the urge to try something else.

Any reviews?

Take a chance. U need to change things up with your skin care once in a while.

I used to use Proactiv & left because my skin wasn't responding to it anymore. Try it & see for yourself.

I have been using Proactiv since the 90's when it first came out. It's always worked well for me and most other over the counter products do not. I switched to Proactiv plus about six months ago and I like it a lot too. I love the moisturizer--it makes my skin feel really smooth and soft. I don't know if you ever tried the original Proactiv or not, but other than adding the moisturizer and taking away the toner, there isn't much difference. My issue is because it has Benzoyl Peroxide in it, you need to be really careful with it because it will fade whatever it comes in contact with. I tried Murad for this reason, but it didn't work for me and made my skin look bad. I use the Proactiv Plus during the day and alternate my Alpha Hydrox Retinol and AHA souffle at night. I definitely recommend trying it though.

I'd been wanting to try it, but wanted NO part of the auto-delivery with the Proactive site (heard many horror stories with that). I had been checking QVC (I trust this place more than the original proactive site), and saw they had it. Ordered it here, and received it 1 week ago and have been using it. It's way too early for a review on it, but I like the way my skin feels. I had tried the original, and even tho I have EXTREMELY oily skin and moderate acne, it did irritate my face and was too strong for me. Please also be aware that benzoyl peroxide will stain, stain, stain. If will stain your towels, your pillowcases, and sheets. Well, not really stain, but will bleach pretty much anything it comes in contact with! If you do order, go with QVC vs. the proactive site--just my suggestion!!!

I've been using Proactiv+ for about a year. I rotate into my skincare routine on days when I see my skin acting up. I love the cleanser and the moisturizer. The 3rd step I only use on spots that are really flaring up. I do like it better than the original Proactiv. The 90 supply lasts a long time.

I really love this product....I rotate it with Estée Lauder and have had wonderful results....used the original but found it pretty drying...this is much more gentle....really keeps my skin from acting up. I especially love the moisturizer and the retinol pads....

QVC prices are ridiculously high. They want $65 just for the moisturizer! I don't pay that much for a whole 90 day kit. If you just want to try it first--check out your local mall. They usually have kiosks that sell Proactiv at a lot of the malls. Still more expensive than getting it online from Guthy Renker, but less expensive than QVC. For what its worth, I have no issues with GR and I've been getting it from them for years. If you pay attention when you order, it completely explains how their system works.

I did use the original Proactiv and forgot about the bleaching and ruining things. I ruined a lot including some clothes. I'd pull them over my head while have the stuff on my face.

I'm not sure I want to deal with that again. How could I forget that? LOL

Maybe I'll stick with the Murad. Oh, if anyone wants to try the Murad, I don't use the acne kit. I use some different products that are the key to it working. The time release cleanser is a must, the acne gel and then the pore perfecting moisturizer. For the reason the regular acne line doesn't work for me either.

I think I'll wait until the Murad stops working and then I'll try the Proactiv.

Thanks for the reminder about the bleaching.
