Anyone try the WEN mousse for shaving?

I have the POM mousse and trying to figure out what to do with it so I thought maybe for shaving? Anyone try it? Or should I be the guinea pig?

It doesn't do anything for my hair and is a little bit sticky.

Oh, I see - I haven't used it yet, so I had no frame of reference. If the mousse is sticky, I would be afraid that it might dry out my skin or make it "tacky", if you know what I mean? But it certainly doesn't hurt to try - report back with results!

HD, prior to Wen, I had a mousse that my hair didn't like. I used it as a shave cream and it "clogged" my razor pretty badly in a couple of swipes.

I used it to shape my eyebrows.

I would think there wouldn't be enough foam for the mousse to work as a shaving cream - it turns back to liquid pretty fast.

^^ This...I don't think the texture is creamy/foamy enough. You might as well try it though. I love the BCC for shaving! Otherwise there are some lovely WEN ladies who I'm sure would be happy to give the mousse a good home

Sure try it, why not! I use my Wen lavender CC to shave since it's not moisturizing enough for my hair. As long as your going for the slick effect for the razor to glide over your skin, since it doesn't foam enough to act like a foam shaving cream. Chaz always stresses how Wen Mousse isn't sticky, if it's sticky on your hair though it may not work for shaving.

I don't really use a foaming type shave cream though anyway, it is more a lotion/cream/oil type so that is kind of what the mousse is like. I am going to try it.

I used it for the first time today as a shave cream. No issues, close shave, no clogging up of my razor. So far so good!
