I tried Too Faced Lip cream ipswich, I naughty nude. It's a nice creamy formula ND a good color for a scrubbed no makeup face, which I have often as a sahm. Maybe not worth $28 but it made me feel special getting it. Another hit we John Freida frizz controlling mousse. That isn't the exact name. Good stuff for $6.

I ordered this from HSN: KARORA Dark Bronzed Self-Tan Kit with Velour Mitt. I really like it, not messy at all. You just spray into the mitt and it disappears into your skin, no mess on the mitt, either. And no awful self-tanner smell later.

Hits -
* Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream - didn't get the color right on the first try, but the second one is better and mixing the two works well, too. I'm not thrilled about the mineral oil in it, but coverage is nice and it hasn't broken me out.
* Montagne Jeunesse Facial Masques - bought an assortment with a half off code from Neoteric Cosmetics (the AH company). Stocked up so I can do one every weekend - probably have enough to get me to Halloween or Thanksgiving. I enjoy treating myself to a relaxing facial on Sunday nights.
* Foreo Luna Mini (BIG Hit) - I deliberated about this for a long, long time and finally gave in. When I first looked at it, it didn't seem like much and I thought, "Great, another thing I've fallen for". When I used it, I was really impressed with the results. My skin wasn't that bad to begin with, but it's even better after using the Luna. I use it every night and most morning.
* WEN Summer Honey Peach Cleansing Conditioner - at first try, I wasn't too impressed, but I gave it another try and liked it much better.
* WEN 613 E.D.T. - love the scent of the cleansing conditioner so I was hoping the EDT would smell the same, and it does. It doesn't last all day so I have to respray, but I don't mind. It's a very pleasant and calming scent.
* Laura Geller CC Finishing Powder - this color correcting powder gives nice mattified finish over BB/CC cream. The stippling brush applies just the right amount.
* Novacare Mattress Topper (kind of a beauty item, since we all need our beauty sleep) - I like that this topper can be used on both sides, depending on the season. We just bought a new mattress set last year and DH feels the pillow top isn't cushiony enough. We certainly didn't want to buy another new set so soon, so this was a hopeful resolution. It's very comfortable.

Misses-
* Tweak'd Self Cleansing Hair Treatment - didn't like the delivery system, the application method, or the way it left my hair.
* L'oreal Visalift Serum Absolute Foundation - even over a primer, and with a setting powder, this didn't last all day for me.

I'm still trying out a few products....so far one for sure is a return tomorrow.

CHI Iron Guard 44, heat protector. It did protect my hair from the heat and my hair styled well, it's con from me is that it made my hair colors.. dull.

I'll find something else to try in Ulta...they are having hair care product sales right now..may try some Redken ! I've always had good luck with Redken !

I bought some soaps at the farmers market where I volunteer.

One soap is a salt soap with gray mud. I love it! My skin looks so fresh and my feet are smooth.

The other soap is a jasmine which is just divine.

I bought a baking soda soap from the co-op. It's one of my all time favorites.

On Thursday, I went to TJ Maxx and stocked up on artisan soaps.

I guess it was still June when I eventually tried the silver and the pearlized white eyeliners. I put off trying them but discovered that they very distinctly and affectively open up and highlight your eyes beautifully. who knew?! I also tried the too faced eyelid primer In June. not good. I ended up with my makeup all over my face but to be fair the product did seem to have separated in the tube so it may have been on the shelf a while but considering that there are cheaper alternatives that I like I won't be trying it again. I tried some nail polishes too. Sally Hansen insta DRI, covergirl Xl, Revlon gel envy and Orly. the Sally Hansen was the easiest to use and wore the best of the bunch

Solvere acne clearing pads (I've been breaking out more frequently since restarting Retin-A a few months ago, but these seem to be helping control the breakouts)

e.l.f. undereye setting powder (brightens the undereye area and sets concealer, doesn't cake or settle into lines on me)

Miss:

e.l.f. cream eyeliner (I think this is a case of operator error, rather than a product issue -- I just can't seem to apply this without making a total mess!)

HITS: -Too Faced Natural Eye Collection (HSN): beautiful, velvety and long lasting eye shadow colors. -Serious Skincare Vitamin A face wash ( helps clear out my pores and smooth the look of my fine lines). I use a few times a week. -Rodial STEMCELL Infinity 5 Piece Set: really like the face wash, face cloth and hand cream (daytime moisturizer is a bit greasy.) -Laura Geller Color Optics CC Finishing Powder: helps keep the oiliness down without settling in my lines. -Perricone No Foundation Foundation Serum: much better than the original. More matte, less greasy (dewy?) than the original. Not too dark on my fair skin. MISSES: -Skinn Bronze Goddess (only liked the color pallet. Everything else was a miss) -Skinn face cleansers ( Day and Night made me break out) -Tweak'd (for fine hair). Made my hair fall out in strands!!!! Once I went back to my old shampoo my hair stopped falling out. I was really hoping this new technique would work. Smelled nice but way too harsh on my fine hair.

New to me: I tried the Wen lotion when it was part of the OTO kit with the remoist and oil. I really like the lotion!

it Cosmetics TSV, loving everything in this kit; first time using the foundation, great color match and nice wear time; love the convenience of the pallet, as well.

613 EDT, love the fragrance, but wish it had a bit more staying power.

Hello ladies ! Happy July!!! Hits from June: Lorac powdered cheek stain in Rose- gorgeous color that lasts and last! Clinique cheek pop in Berry- love it!!! Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser oil primer- my hair seems to like this ( makes it less frizzy and fly away) and it seems to not like anything I try on it lately. CKOne lip shine in the shade Rush. Now, this is one nice shade- a great mix of pink and Coral- would be very flattering on a lot of different skin tones. Has anyone else tried these yet? Wen 613- I really love this scent!! Wish it had better staying power, but I do love this scent!!!Not quite a miss: It cosmetics ByeBye Undereye. Still not sure about this one yet. Picked up a sample size at Ulta and still playing around with it.

Hits: Jeanette Graf Retinol serum, retinol pads, body butter-moisturizing and calming-good price, still on a honeymoon w/these products. Hand crème is outstanding

ASDM Vit C (July )-good for spot lightening, but miserable under foundation. Will use only at night under retinol.

It's been a slow start to summer, but that's ok by me.

Hi everyone, I recently ordered a new product so may come back to give info. on that but I did purchase:

HITS: Rimmel BB Cream SPF 25 = light to med. coverage, flawless finish. I was really impressed with this product. Will not clog pores which is a big plus.

Laura Mercier's Creme de Pistache hand cream. I was not sure if I liked the scent but the more I used it, the more I really liked it. It's quite different with a nutty tone.

Shakai Vanilla body wash - used this exclusively years ago and decided to try it again. It's soap free and a nice scent & wash plus it doesn't break the bank.

I did not have any misses.

Wen Summer Honey Peach cleanser, Styling Cream and Mousse duo, oil and replenishing treatment spray, 3-piece SHP kit. Love this scent and the formula is good for my hair!

A253877 - Laura Geller Baked Gelato 5-piece Baked Italian Treats. I loved all the pieces in this kit! Got it in Fair and the balance and brighten powder foundation is magic. Not a lot of coverage but makes me look good. I can't even explain, I just look better when I put it on. The blush has a lot of color and takes just a little but gives me a nice glow. The eyeshadow is great as a base and highlighter. The lip crayon is really smooth too! This was my first LG purchase and I definitely will try more of her products.

A240547 - Laura Geller Set of 3 Sun Kissed Color Lip Balm SPF 15. Love these too. The colors are bright and clear. Very smooth. I can wear all of the colors and I'm fair.

A204139 - WEN by Chaz Dean 32oz Nourishing Body Lotion with Loofah. Got it in Fig. Love this and already ordered Tea Tree lotion too!!

A204140 - WEN by Chaz Dean 32 oz. Body Cleansing Creme w/ Loofah. Got in Fig and love this too. Haven't ordered more yet since I can also use the regular Wen but I will get more of this.

A221390 - WEN by Chaz Dean Re-Moist Mask & Treatment Oil Duo Tea Tree. Using the oil to help my hair grow faster. Using the Re-Moist as directed but also using as a Leave In styling ingredient and think I found my HG!! It's fantastic for giving me volume!!

MISSES

613 EDT - doesn't last longer than 15 mins on me. Not sure why since so many others love it.

A9261 - Calista Tools Embellish Texturizing Definer with ProElement. I couldn't figure this out and my hair kept going even more flat than without it. I own a similar product and could always use it without a problem. I hoped this would be even better but it's going back.

Missha and Etude House...Blemish Patches (easy and love them)

Missha Lipstick...love but unsure why all the pinks look a lot alike (that's the miss part)

HolikaHolika Pore Compact with SPF (very nice and goes on sheer)

Lioele Gel Foundation and Missha Signature BB with filler (HG's)

Organix Collagen Biotin Shampoo and Conditioner (the root lift spray is a miss, it does nothing)

Jergens Coconut Body Butter (love the smell, moisturizing and the cost)

It Lip Glosses (not the stains) very moisturizing and pretty colors

Electronic Make Up applicator from Korea that looks like a baby Mia with a sponge. I love applying serums with it especially under my eyes. I am not having much of a puffy eye problem and I think it is because the device is stimulating the under eye area gently. I have only played with it and foundation but so far so good.

Laura Geller Love Me Dew Lip Crayons are a big hit! I bought Lychee and Dragon Fruit Sorbet. They are very moisturizing and have staying power.

HITS

-WEN SHP CC. Best stuff EVER. Gives me everything I was looking for- super shine, moisture and my hair has NEVER been tangle free like this! I really hope it becomes permanent in the line.

-EO French Lavender body lotion and hand wipes/sanitizer- LOVE this scent, completely addicting. Better than the WEN lavender scent.

-Andalou Naturals moisturizing CC cream with SPF 30 (sheer nude)- very nice, minimal coverage, moisturizing. A little heavy on the rose scent initially but it goes away soon after applied. I think I still like the Physician's formula Organic Wear CC better though. And certainly not better than my Misha Perfect cover. But it is something that I will continue to purchase and I like it even better than the Paula's Choice Ultra tinted SPF.

MISSES

-WEN SHP replenishing treatment spray. I do not like it for my hair, not awful but a little sticky.

UNDECIDED

-WEN SHP oil. I don't hate it, don't love it. I will use it up but not purchase a full size.

-Andalou Naturals Apricot Probiotic Cleansing Milk.I don't love it, don't hate it. I prefer my One love organics enzyme cleansing oil MUCH better. So I will use it up but probably not repurchase.

-Tweak-D Ultra Nourishing hair cleanser. I have only tried it once and I did like the results better than any shampoo/conditioner I've used in the past but not as much as the WEN Summer honey peach CC, definitely not as moisturizing as SHP. I will have to use it a few more times to really make a call. I will use it up because it was nice but nothing beats the results I get from the WEN SHP. It was easy to use, sounds more complicated than it really is, but I don't like the foam as I find it kind of messy to work with. It says to emulsify in your hands but when you do, you usually drop some of the foam. But my hair is prone to tangling (has since I was a baby!) and this did not cause it to tangle.

Hits- Josie compact I use it as sort of a setting power over foundation as it didn't provide me with enlighten coverage on its own. The Marc Jacobs gel foundation, only gotta sample because of the high price but so far I like it will use up the entire sample before deciding if I want to purchase. Miss-the It Cosmetics liquid foundation in the compact, don't remember the name but it didn't work for me.
