I've cut back to using the TT oil once every 7-10 days, because my hair was growing too fast. My hair is heavily layered (shortest is jaw length, longest is beneath my bra strap). My hair is "all Wen", so I don't need it cut to trim split ends or remove damage, I have it cut to keep the layers in shape. Right now, I'm having it trimmed about every eight weeks, and taking off about 2-3 inches each time.

Keep in mind, "individual results may vary", lol.........I think you've posted a few threads reading the Tea Tree products, I hope you get the results you're looking for!

ETA: If you looking to really give your hair a boost, you might be interested in biotin supplements (if you aren't using those already). They were originally recommended by my hair stylist years ago. I take Andrew Lessman's Healthy Hair, Skin and Nails. Basic biotin supplements can be purchased at any drugstore/grocery store.

Just FYI- do you know that he is having a TS on July 13 of Hair Skin and Nails with EGCG??

Should be an amazing deal.

I haven't always kept track, but after my last highlights/lowlights service, I could tell because of the outgrowth and I swear it looked like an inch of roots were showing within a month.

Wen TT makes mine grow like crazy, I normally get a 1/2" a month, but nearly 3/4" when I use TT. It seems to stimulate the scalp somehow.

Sunlight also does that for me. If I'm swimming and getting a lot of sun, I have to get a cut in four weeks, not six or eight.

I use tt oil and bgt cc. My usual growth until a few years ago used to be 3/4""-1"" a month but it had slowed down. With these two I get at least that!

Thank you so much, I'll have to stock up with the big daddy size! :-)

I also use his basic multivitamin (Essential One, maybe?) and his Resveratrol. Are you aware of any upcoming TS's for those?

I take Lessman's HHSN, too, but hair growth was still amped up with the TT oil treatments rather than just with the supplement alone. I believe Lessman's supplement is better than a drugstore/supermarket version because the level of Biotin is higher and it also includes Bamboo Silica.

I use Andrew's supplements, and it makes my hair grow longer than it's ever been; however, it makes it grow but it doesn't make it thicker for me.

I do not use WEN cleanser, but I use TT, Pomegranate, and Fig oil, and it's really good for your hair. I give a scalp massage overnight, and it makes beautiful hair.

I don't do formal growth checks either but now whenever I get my highlights done, I also have him cut off at least 2 inches which I would have balked at before WEN because I like longer hair but 2 inches is nothing now and I know that amount will grow back plus some by the time my next "trim" comes around. I do not need 2 inches off (my hair is healthy) but I don't want hair past my butt and since my hair is now growing faster, it can get there pretty quickly if I don't trim off at least that much.

I went in for a trim last week and to get it back to chin length she cut close to 2" off. My last hair cut was 2 months ago. The crown of my head where it's heavily layered has only about 1/2" of color treated hair, rest is silver, my nape is totally silver/grey. I stopped coloring my roots in March and now have 4" of natural. I just started doing the oils really regularly in March. I'm going to keep my hair chin length until it's all natural, but I'm doing the oils to get it there faster.

I've been using Wen for over three years. Pre-Wen I could go for three to four months before even thinking about getting my hair cut.

For the first year and a half I used TT CC in my rotation and my hair grew about 1/2 inch per month.

About a year and a half in, I started doing homemade TT overnight oil treatments and my hair started growing one inch per month. In fact, for the past few months, my hair has been growing more than one inch per month.

I actually make my own blend which is 95% carrier oil (such as jojoba, sweet almond, avocado oil etc.) and a maximum of a total of 5% essential oils (TT, lavender, etc.). Using more than 5% essential oils can irritate your scalp.

I use a jojoba/TT oil blend. I buy both at Trader Joes which sells 4oz jojoba oil for $7 and 1oz. TT oil for $6.50. Then I put them in a small Bach glass container with a dropper (from Bach) which I bought at The Vitamin Shoppe for $4. Bach is the company that sells Rescue Remedy and the flower essences.

Whenever you are using an oil blend that incorporated essential oils, ALWAYS do a skin patch test first to make sure that the blend isn't irritating your skin. Put a small amount of the blend on a less sensitive part of your skin (e.g. arm or leg) and leave it on for the day. Check that area periodically to make sure you are not having a skin reaction to it.

-- bebe Wen FAQ - key Wen links - Wen 101 - tips from Chaz Dean Studio
