Best Eye area SPF?

Hi Ladies, A few years back I used and really liked Shiseido's SPF eye product (comes in a small, blue tube). I haven't purchased a targeted eye area SPF in a long time, but I realize that I should be using one--especially for an upcoming trip to a sunny destination. Any suggestions? I currently use and love Josie Maran's SPF, but I'd like something I can easily apply directly to delicate eye area. TIA

I have two sunscreens that I can put all around my eyes with no irritation. They are ASDM Beverly Hills spf 35 and Paula's Choice Super Light spf 30. I personality like to use my sunscreen all over my face, chest, neck and eye area. Zinc oxide is really gentle and gives you great protection. That is the active in both of the ones I mentioned.

I just got an email from dermStore with an eye specific SPF 50. right now it's 20% off and it was Skinceuticals. $24

could you please provide the exact name? I do not see anything like this on their site. I'd love to check into it. TIA!

OP, I have never been able to use a regular SPF lotions/moisturizers around my eyes so normally I use an eye primer and then dust Jane Iredale or other mineral foundation with SPF over it. However, Perricone's newest No concealer concealer that comes in a tube with a doe foot wand says it can be used as an eye primer and it has SPF 35 so I plan on trying it instead. I am obsessed about using sunscreen everyday and the eye area has always been my biggest challenge since regular SPF lotions always irritate my eyes!

skinceuticals physical Eye UV defense. but apparently the 20% off was just for the one day :-(

Thanks Andreatoo! I will look into it. That is okay about the code, I am sure there will be another one again soon if I decide to give it a try.

ETA: eeks, I just realized the Perricone product has some ingredients in it I can't use so hopefully the skinceuticals one will be okay.

Have you actually used this eye sunscreen? I found it, but don't see any reviews. I like that it's physical but not that it's tinted (although many people like tinted sunscreens).

no I have not tried it. I do note that the site has a few eye specific sunscreens but personally I just use whatever I'm using around my eyes and I dont have issues

Thanks so much, everyone, for the replies and recs.

I've used SkinCeuticals Sheer Fusion SPF on and off for a few years (it is my one other fave, along with JM SPF--two completely different products, really). I've been very happy with the SkinCeuticals that I've tried and I definitely want to check out the eye product.

What I wish is that something existed that was like a lip balm, but for the eye area. Something I could just roll all over my eye area, without the fear of it getting in and stinging, or making me tear up and cry. Hmmmmm? Someone has to come up with this.

My derm recommends a few SkinCeuticals products so I'm always interested when I see something new in their line.

What I do is use my reg. eye cream then use Smashbox Photo Finish foundation Primer with Spf 20. under my eyes. Just another option.

Kabella-That IS a good option. I forget about the other products I use and have that contain SPF that I could dot around and over the eye area.

Kinda random other question here, ladies: Have any of you heard of or used the Sun Bum line of products? They sell this on Nordstrom.com, and on Amazon. Apparently their lip balms with SPF (around $4.99) are really popular. They carry a clear zinc oxide that I was curious about. But I wonder if zinc oxide can really go that close to the eye???

I use my Devita SPF under my eyes but my Dermablend concealer also has SPF 20. (Titanium dioxide). It's getting hard to find so I really hope it's not getting DC'd!!

Hey mama I tried the Sun Burn sample at my local health food store and it was pretty thick. Because I can't use chemical SS on my face I've always stuck with physical SS on my face & around my eyes with no problem. As long as it's not heavily scented with essential oils etc like Badger or Keys then I get the watering of eyes.

I have not heard of that brand but yes, zinc oxide can be used near the eye- the Skinceuticals SPF eye product Andreatoo mentioned has Zinc oxide in it, so does other spf eye products.

I have been using Ole Henriksen's Perfect Truth CC Eye Creme Spf 15 and really like it. It illuminates the eye area and helps to hide dark circles a bit also.
