I, too, am very sensitive to spf and have had no breakouts using Neutrogena Visibly Even BB Cream. It gives a beautiful finish and comes in fair/light and light/medium. SPF 30.

Neutrogena BB Cream, lightweight, non-greasy moisturizer contains Essential Soy to visibly reduce the signs of blotchiness and discoloration, as well as help minimize the look of freckles and dark spots. Natural light diffusers immediately reflect light and help reveal radiant, healthy-looking skin. Plus, broad-spectrum SPF 30 helps prevent future signs of discoloration caused by the sun.
I am looking for some help with a tinted moisturizer. My skin has changed - it's very dry now. I never liked the feel of regular foundation, so I have used Laura Geller Bal & Brighten and/or Bare Minerals. They are both now too drying on my face, however I never broke out using these products. (My face is ultra sensitive.). I have tried a few tinted moisturizers and the sunscreen in them caused my skin to breakout. I need something to even out my skin, but don't know where to turn. Any ideas ladies? Thank you .

you can try making your own by using your favorite moisturizer and then adding a drop of your favorite foundation and mixing. I keep a small round container that I add moisturizer and foundation and mix together, then it's ready when I'm ready.

I think you should try It cosmetics CC cream. Its really nice and moisurizing. When applied with my fingers it is a perfect alternative to a tinted moisturizer and with a brush its more like a foundation. I love it! And i have tried alot of cc and bb creams. Its really nice!

These days I'm wearing Smashbox BB creme. Great coverage and moisturizing. I often wear it without feeling a need for foundation. I also have sensitive skin, and I haven't had any problems with breakouts while using Smashbox.

You might try the new Physician's Formula Organic Wear CC cream. More natural ingredients, non chemical SPF 20, and a nice finish. They also have very nice SPF 30 CC cream that's also non chemical SPF I was using. I'm using the Revision Intellishade now in the matte version. It's SPF 45 and mostly non chemical but does have 2 chemical sunscreen ingredients, but not the really bad ones like oxybenzone. ShopSmart magazine recently rated sunscreens and they gave the non chemical ones low ratings. One of the ones they tested was the Banana Boat Baby, and I forget the other. They said the actual protection was less than 1/2 of the stated amount.

iminthesouthwest - Are we to assume you don't want anything with an SPF, given your prior experiences? To be honest with you, I think requiring a tinted moisturizer to have no SPF, will limit your options. It seems there are many options for moisturizers w/o SPF, but when you want some color, they SPF's start showing up. 1mamaj had a very good suggestion of making your own. Personally, I like IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream and Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream. Both give very nice coverage, but are not thick & heavy. I don't know what the exact requirements are to call a product a tinted moisturizer or BB cream, if there are any. Paula B. lumps them altogether and that's kind of how I look at them, too. If you are new to BB creams and want to try a drugstore brand first, look into Physicians Formula.

I have super sensitive skin and I use Nars pure radiant tinted moisturizer (SPF 30). It does not irritate my skin or make it break out. I've also used Tarte BB tinted moisturizer (SPF 20). I like both but use the Nars in the summer with the higher SPF for extra protection.

I agree with 1mama--and what she said is what I do. I'm 60 (Yikes) I have very dry skin and hate the feel of liquid foundation and not crazy about the powders either but find a good moisturizer and mix a little of your liq foundation in it. It works like a bb or cc cream. But FIRST---put on a really good SPF and let it dry then layer the other things over it. Got told by experts that spf first, will give the protection you have to have. Laura Mercier has some really nice liquid face colors. Go to Sephora and they will give you little pots of anything you want to try and then you won't be wasting a ton of cash on things you may not use. Tell them about what your concerns are---at my Sephora they are so helpful all the time!! Also they maybe able to help with the spf issues or maybe try some organic, natural spfs too. Use our friend google for that. One brand of organic stuff that I use and love is called Gabriel Organics. There are many really good spf products that are for sensitive skin that will do the job without the harsh chemicals.

DIY's are a good suggestion. Do you use a hydrating primer before using BM. Do you use the original? Have you ever tried Pur Minerals? I still wear the original BM expecially in the summer months when I want just a light dusting to even things out.

Another suggestion is misting your face with a product that won't bother your sensitive skin. After moisturizing, primer, I suggest misting your face with Avian Water which they sell at Ulta. It won't take off your foundation but it does help hydrate the foundation your using. They also have small ones for your purse. Good Luck.

I love Josie MARANS tinted moisturizer with natural SPF -- I think 30. It takes a small amount to cover my whole face & sometimes I mix a bit of LG spackle to enhance the finish. The Medium shade is a tad too blah for my skin so I finish with a brushing of bronzer. I hardly ever use an actual ""foundation"" anymore and I love the simplicity of ONE product filling my needs. I only need serious coverage of darkness in eye corners.

I like Korean BB cream. After reading a lot of reviews on another forum, I ended up with Hanskin Super Plus and it's all I love in a tinted moisturizer with a bit more density. Just right. And 30 SPF, too. If I want more coverage, I use it under IT powder fnd which has no SPF. I have sensitive skin and no breakouts or rash so far.
