Their makeup isn't that great. I mainly only purchase that brand for their brushes.

Thanks for the reminder. They have some good products and HSN always puts some great kits together. There is usually free or reduced shipping during a visit as well (like for Too Faced right now!)

I really like some of their eye shadows and lip glosses. Musings blog just featured their upcoming debut. Think how many of QVC's beauty lines have migrated to other channels.

I e-mailed Smashbox's customer service to see where the eyeshadows and bronzers are manufactured.

I have already read reviews on their new palette "Full Exposure" and they weren't very good. Seems Smashbox isn't what it used to be, but I will be watching!!

I agree , Blingy. Good brushes, not much else .

I'll be passing , but expanding brands is always a good thing. Glad for those who love it.

I'm kinda upset with Smashbox. They discontinued the luminizer I mixed with my foundation and then they discontinued my foundation. I don't like the newer foundations, so I'm on the prowl to find a goo low to medium coverage dewy foundation.

Also, the eye shadow set I have from them is not very good. It is not highly pigmented, so it seems to take a lot of product to get any depth of color.

I've never paid much attention to Smashbox. I purchased a lipstick once & hated it but that is the sum total of my experience. I'll have to watch to see what they have to offer.

Love Halo too and a few other products but for me, their brushes were a big letdown as they shed way too much. Sad too because the brushes really are designed well. I also now much prefer all synthetic brushes and not real hair.

Smashbox has been hit or miss for me, but I'll prob still watch to see what they're offering. I agree, they have nice brushes, but I'd never pay full price for them.

Holly is no longer with Smashbox! That is too bad about the eyeshadows, becuase Smashbox used to have some really beautiful highly pigmented shadows!!!!Still ove their lip products and their eyeliner Always Sharp-excellent eye liner-very smooth and soft and lasts all day!
