First off let me say that it's a blessing and a privilege to have been born here in the land of the free and the home of the brave...hands-down the greatest nation on God's green Earth.

BUT, for whatever reason, if you couldn't live here any longer - where would you go??

A couple of friends and I got to talking about this and it was more than a little depressing. There really isn't another place that we'd prefer. While I can no longer tolerate colder temps, I'd choose a Caribbean island. My friends didn't like the idea of Europe but we were tongue tied and decided to table the discussion 'til we could think about it more.

Where would YOU go??!?

Norway for me too.

I have been there several times.

I would move to Ulvik. It's like heaven on earth.

The people are healthy and happy and mostly well off. The country is beautiful. And I love their cozy, pine paneled huts and the saunas. I would have to get used to eating a LOT of fish though...it's their #1 source of protein.

I've never visited Norway, but have heard good things about it. I think I would go for Scotland. If ever seriously considering it, though, I would live there for at least 6 months before making a final decision.

My son is lucky. With his dual citizenship, he can work in Canada, New Zealand or Australia. He HAS worked in Toronto...it's a great city...vibrant - full of great ethnic neighborhoods...clean...the people are polite.

They are making a musical on the mayor...I'd love to go see it!

First Australia (some crazy things going on in UK these days) and then maybe UK or New Zealand.

Some of my Drs have 2nd homes in the Dominican Republic. Ugh!

Japan. I lived there for 3 years and it was wonderful. Very safe, lots to do and very fun.
