Self tanner on face and PTR Unwrinkle Peel Pads

I've been using Vita Liberata on my face and like the golden glow but it doesn't seem to last more than a day or two. I've been using PTR Unwrinkle Peel Pads and Retinol Fusion. Do any of you ladies notice self tanner doesn't last when using these products? If any of you have suggestions on how to keep my tan, please let me know. Thanks!!

I use both the PTR products you referred to and I also self-tan. In my opinion, it is the Peel Pads that cause my tan to fade faster. I say this because the tan on my face, neck, and decolletage fades much faster than on the rest of my body (and this is exactly where I use the peel pads). The pads are a pretty powerful exfoliant that probably turns the skin over faster than elsewhere on your body.

That is my "unscientific" guess (lol), but I'm sure other posters will be able to give you a more definitive answer.

Self tanners essentially tint only the surface layer of your skin, so when you exfoliate you are taking away that top layer. That's why most tanners tell you to exfoliate before you apply the tanner.

the PTR is going to exfoliate your ""tanned"" skin and fade it faster.
