Does anyone have a help idea on ridding my nose of blackheads?

I sound like broken record, but Dr. Young's Camellia Deep Cleansing Oil (get it on Amazon) has been such a great product for me. It gives a thorough cleansing, but keeps my skin soft and hydrated without giving it an oily finish. If you're afraid of putting oil directly on your face, I was skeptical as well, but it doesn't make your face oilier. In fact, if you have any oil issues or combo skin, it works to normalize and stabilize your natural oil production.

I've also recently started using a Foreo Luna Mini and really like it so far.

Try the Skin Vacuum mask from SKINN cosmetics. Dimitri's going to be on SHOPHQ all weekend long, so you might be able to find it in a good kit.

Tired of dinking around with expensive products? Use Biore strips, you will be shocked.

Just be aware that if you do use a pore strip (Biore or otherwise), it may cause extreme irritation if you are currently using any retinol or have skin issues such as rosacea, psoriasis, etc.

Also, the strips usually just grab the top layer of the blackhead and/or any sebaceous filaments that people mistake for blackheads.

My HG product for blackheads and large pores has been the daily use of a BHA - Beta Hydroxy Acid (salicyclic acid). I have combo/oily skin.

I use a 2% BHA gel from Paula's Choice, 2x a day. You can call and ask for some samples before buying. BHAs clean out congested pores and help even and smooth out skin tone and the skin's surface.

Also, using any type of clay mask is usually very helpful in clearing out the pores......and keeping them clear.

I use retinol (non-prescription) and the pore strips cause a few hours of redness. But seeing that little forest of filaments and blackheads with a 10X loupe makes me realize how ineffective certain cleansers are. In my case that means the Clairisonic.

I use a professional blemish extracting tool. I have two, one from Sephora and one from Paula's Choice. Both work really well.

I use 2% BHA regularly and I still have pores that fill up on my nose. Every couple of days I clean them out with the professional extracting tool, and will occasionally use either a straight honey mask (just slap some plain honey on my skin) and leave it there for 5 minutes, then rinse with a warm cloth. Or, I use a clay mask. I haven't used a clay mask in a while as I haven't found one that doesn't irritate my skin. The company that used to make the mask I loved no longer makes it.

The extracting tool is the best.

Go to Amazon and search for Tweezerman No-Slip Skin Care Tool. I believe you need to remove your blackheads with a tool like this first. Then use a BHA exfoliant daily. Paula's Choice has some good choices. You can also go to her website and look at other brands of BHA products also.

Go to Etude House, HolikaHolika, Lioele, The Face Shop, Tony Moly on ebay. Most Korean companies are HUGE on blackhead products. I got a free sample of a nose patch thingy but I don't have blackheads (that may be the ASDM microderm cream doing that). Plus I use witch hazel on my nose as well. I would also think that some local companies like Biore may have similar product that you apply to your nose and then pull it off.

I no longer need to use ANY of those above mentioned products and my nose has been blackhead free for 1 year now!

Prior, I would exfoliate, cleanse, squeeze, apply products...and would get SOME results. Since using the Mia 2 every night, my skin is clean and clear and my pores are greatly reduced. I don't GET them anymore so no reason to dig/exfol/cleanse them out! Saving me a fortune on needless skin products. Or wasting my money on the stash of products in my closet I don't need anymore!

Have no idea why I waited so long to get a Mia 2. I buy everything else! LOL

Can you give me the Sugar 101 version? Do you wet your nose first? Or make a paste?
