I've used both and prefer BE, it matches my skin tone much better, looks more natural but still covers. The It was okay, but it didn't match completely, and didn't look or feel right on my face. Once I went back to BE, I realized how well it works for me.

Some do love It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation, it was just okay for me.

It Cosmetics Celebration versus Bare Minerals?

I've been using It Cosmetics CC+ Your Skin But Better and it seems to be my HG. There's been a lot of buzz about It Cosmetics Celebration, however, and I'd love to know how the It Celebration powder looks on the face compared to the original Bare Minerals, as I'm familiar with that. I'm 58 and like a natural look where my skin doesn't look like a mask. Less is more for me, but I do have some slight redness around the nose area that I'd like to cover ... easily but as naturally as possible. In your opinion, which is better, It Celebrations or the original Bare Minerals? Or am I better off staying with my It CC+ ? Thanks !

When I use BE, I can stop there. When I use any other line, I always have to use something else to even out the color or it is too shiny...... it is always too something. BE so far has not done me wrong.

dvbusa.....I've used all three and found the IT CC cream to work best. The Celebration powder was drying on my skin and the original Bare Minerals had a metallic look....think the Tin Man in the Wizard of Oz which was a description used by another person and I agree 100%!

It has been about a year since I switched to IT Cosmetics CC Cream and/or Celebration Foundation. I had used BE for 20+ years. I just turned 59 and prior to switching I was hearing a lot of my friends, and my physician, saying that I was looking "dry". Currently I have to say that my skin is looking great, getting compliments on my complexion, which at my age, makes me feel great. The best was when I was told I looked so "refreshed and dewy"! I was never told that when I used BE! I owe the compliments to IT Cosmetics. I have been using the CC Cream for the summer, and generally use the Celebration when I need more coverage or am heading out to a special event when I need to be glammed up. Less IS more after a certain age, and this seems to be brilliant for me. I have also used the bronzer, highlight, bye-bye pores and under eye. My newest favorite is the waterproof tight-liner primer. The best. Good luck and I hope you fare well with IT!

I was a BE girl for years, but never could get the results I liked with the original foundation on its own (I mixed it with primer to get a more natural finish). Matte was a little better and Ready was even a little better but it was never still quite right, always a little dry and patchy. Oddly enough, the liquid "serum" foundation leaves me feeling dry too! I love a ton of their other products, but the foundations never won my heart. I revisited It cosmetics with the TSV that contained the CC cream and about lost my mind. I LOVE this stuff. It gives me such a perfect finish, smooth and natural and non-creasy or greasy. It gives a little more sheen than I like on some days (although I've never let it fully dry down on its own to see if it would take care of itself) but that's easily managed by a little bronzer or powder of any kind. I picked up the Celebration foundation in the most recent TSV and love it too, in a different way than the CC cream but more than I ever loved BE foundations. I haven't tried them in combination yet but love the idea.

I tried the IT foundation and was really hoping I'd love it. I'm a long-time lover of powder foundations (primarily b/c of their ease of use) and I needed something new. This was the first product I can recall that my DH actually said something to me about -- said, did you do something different to you face? And that I looked really weird. It just did not lay correctly on my skin, and gave my complexion a weird cast.

OTOH, I've used BE foundation on and off over the years. Is it perfect for me? NO. However, a tiny bit, on a nicely moisturized face can work well for me. And no one has ever said that I look "weird" when wearing it!

I just received the TSV from IT Cosmetics, which is my first purchase --looking for something without liquids that can travel.

I was pleasantly surprised. The foundation does cover fairly well, the light was the correct shade more or less, and the concealer is pretty good as is the eyebrow pencil. The palette is not my favorite but it's convenient to throw in a bag for travel if you only want one blush, bronzer and highlighter.

I'm very happy! I usually use Shiseido powder foundation which is not the most beautiful, but it has a lot of SPF so I use it on vacation. This is a lot nicer except it has no SPF. I might try it over the Shiseido or an SPF moisturizer.

I can help you with that. I used to use Bare Minerals for many years, then Leslie sold the company out to Shisheido (SP) I started noticing that the original make up was now laying in fine lines and collecting around my face and I didn't like it. I watched IT on QVC one night and I bought the kit it was in. Turns out, I fell in love with everything! My skin looks better and nothing is laying in my pores and fine lines. I will never go back to Bare Minerals!

Since its formulation the FDA is implementing new rules that all powder products including mineral foundation can no longer claim SPF effective June 2012 so this will not have an SPF claim on the box or on air at QVC. It is also bismuth free! You will see after June all of the powder foundations in the marketplace will no longer be able to list SPF and will have to change their names and packaging. But a great way to tell is to look for the SPF ingredients in the ingredient listing. For our Celebration Foundation because it is SPF 50 in the ingredient listing Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide (both natural, physical sunscreens) are listed #2 and #3 in the ingredient listing. After 3 years of formulating this powder foundation to not only give full coverage but also have SPF 50 we were really sad that the FDA changed packaging rules, but the good news is, the high quantity of natural physical SPF is still in the formula!"

I used original Bare minerals for years. I have the IT Celebration foundation, and have tried the IT CC.

I don't particularly like the finish with the Celebration, it can look cakey, and does not come in as many colors, so may not match your skin. The IT CC has good coverage, but can't personally get past the snail slime.

If you're looking to try something new, I can recommend the Tarte Amazonian clay powder foundation. It has a much better finish than BM and very good coverage. Sephora carries all the colors. I don't like the brush sold with it here.

I really like the IT bye bye redness and under eye corrector. Both do exactly what they say.

If you're near an Ulta, you could try Philosophy's airbrush mineral foundation. It doesn't have the "glo" BE has, but a beautiful soft matte look that is velvety.
