T3 Volumizing Brush Review :-(

Boy, was this a disappointment.

Instead of volumizing, it seemed to make my hair flatter and more limp. I tried 2nd day as they were suggesting. Flatter hair.

Dried my hair upside down with root spray, then brushed or should I say "scooped". Flattened it somewhat and smoothed it a LITTLE.

Brushed my hair upside down with it -- limp city.

There's also an irritating design flaw (IMO). The setting button is right where my thumb would grip the handle and I'd inadvertently keep switching it from High to Low.

As always, there are some reviewers who are pleased, others who aren't.

I was hoping this, because it wasn't a round brush and with the T3 technology just might be different. I will say it didn't get caught up in my hair but that's the ONLY positive thing I can say about it. That, and that it heats up quickly.

Did anybody else try it?

I bought mine at QVC when they offered 4 year warranty. Today, T3 only offers 2 year warranty.

I didn't go with a T3 dryer because of the cost and the reviews stating that they didn't last more than a year or so, if not less. I decided to go with something cheaper. Mine works great, Babyliss Torino $70, though I don't use it every night/day. I generally wash at night and use a flat iron/curling brush (Perfecter) in the mornings. I have washed and blown dry at night and still have to use heat to style or spritz with water to dampen, put styling products in and blow dry from there with a bit of a flat iron/Perfecter after on the ends.

As for the T3 brush.....I thought about it on Easy Pay day, but decided I would wait and hear the reviews and see if it was really any different than the Perfector/heated curling brush. Apparently it is totally different, the Perfector/heated curling brush work, while the T3 really doesn't work, plus I have super fine, super thick hair in a long pixie/short bob and thought its size would not work well, so I decided it wasn't for me. I kept watching the video and seeing him basically tackle the same pieces of the hair on the models, who had styling products and the like in their hair. It will work for some people of some hair types that already have a natural body to them. My fine, limp hair does not, so it speculate that it will only make it flat, as many have stated. Thanks for the review and confirming my decision and many others.

I love the T3 flat iron so I thought I would love this brush. I don't know why but it flattens my hair as well. Can't get any volume or bend with it. I really need to make the effort to send it back.

T3 definitely doesn't live up to the hype. I have a Sedu 6000i and LOVE it! I have had it for two years and have been very pleased with it. I would definitely replace it if something were to happen to it since it is now out of warranty. Folica has a 30% deal with code VIPOFFER that ends in a few hours.

My hair falls between my chin and shoulder and is thin and fine. I got the T3 the last time it was the TSV.

For me, it has made a difference when drying my hair. I'm not getting the frizzies or fly-aways. My hair is coming out of being damaged by a bad perm. Now I'm back to shiny hair. My old dryer - which got very hot- never performed as well.

I feel that the T3 is being kind and gentle to my hair and doing a good job getting it dry easily. But then, my hair is fine.
