It is probably the genuine product but I have read many posts about knock off products being sold. The best place to purchase Wen is qvc, GR or Chaz's site. From what I understand, although most are genuine products, you are still taking a chance if you don't purchase from these sites. If you are looking for the discontinued seasonal scents you would have to purchase from these other sites and may indeed not be purchasing the genuine product but can't really be sure.

Compare your label to those used on the WEN sold through GuthyRenker. The GR labels are different than the labels on WEN sold @ QVC and on Chazdean.com.

I would HIGHLY advise NOT to purchase Wen from G-R. If you do not cancel within 30 days, they will automatically re-order Wen for you, to the tune of $65 or something like that.

I have heard horror stories of how difficult it is to get off the auto-mail and to get refunds from G-R.

Your bottle is probably taller and has a label with less sharp artwork. It is probably from Guthy Renker. It is the version sold in Sephora. Look at the label on the bottom at the back. It probably says Distributed by Guthy Renker and has different countries listed. The formula is made for export, so the ingredient deck has to be a little different.

I am sold on buying from Amazon so when I saw this post I read the replies. First I do not use WEN but I do use AMAZON. I have had nothing but good luck from them in good times and in bad.

Just a quick comment. Only twice did I have a problem with a product sold from a Vendor using Amazon. One was the wrong item and when it arrived I called Amazon immediately and the seller called me within two hours and made it right. The second time the product I bought just did not work. Same story, the vendor called and made it immediately right. I never had to return anything. The new items were in the mail.

I think Amazon makes it clear to its sellers they better make the customer VERY HAPPY. So I would think that buying Wen from the Amazon source would be a safe bet or at least you could get lots a great help making it right.

Bonnielu, you are right. I order oils from Amazon and never had a problem. The CCs don't seem to be cost effective. I had a problem with an SD card and it was fixed right away.

I've got many things from Amazon and have always had a good experience. Everything from DVDs to Wen. I got several 2oz Wen oils and several FAS CCs. I didn't start with Wen until Jan and had missed the Fall Apple Spice and wanted to try it. So I got one from Amazon and loved it! So went back and ordered several more!! Love it! I also get Amazon gift cards from my grocery store and they give me fuel perks! So when I'm planning an order I go to the store ( I also work there in the Pharmacy, so very convenient! ) and get a gift card, then I get gas points and save at the pump too! I wish my store sold QVC gift cards, lol!! If you want a past seasonal CC Amazon is a good place to get it IMO. I also got several FAS 2oz RTMs for $4.95. I think because it wasn't too popular there must have been quite a bit left over. I wish they had the FAS or SOB oils! I would buy them out!

I get my Amazon gift cards at my local grocery store (Giant Eagle) For every 50 dollar purchase of just about anything I get twenty cents off of gas. I build until my gas is free (not really if the prices are higher it might be false economy, but it makes me happy).

I love Amazon. In our area, no shipping or tax. I am sure that will change but in the meantime the best service around. And they do go after their vendor for not keeping their customers happy.
