Snoopy Happy Dance!

My Summer Honey Peach kit got delivered tonight! It has a CC, RTM and oil.

Thanks again Hilary for sharing the oil ingredients and what they do; I will be using the kit tomorrow! And thanks HappyDaze for your review: I know what to expect!

My oil was in a "flat" bottle; is this the new norm?

Honey, if you don't love it I will be surprised. The honey complex left me so moisturized. I upped myself to 3 - 32oz bottles. The one ounce oils are always in the flat bottle. The new two ounce, you've seen in the little 'grand poobah hat' round bottle.

Ha!! Snoopy Happy Dance, lol! You say that and I immediately think of Xander from Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV show.....I know, I'm a dork! Anyway, happy you got your kit! Hope it works well for you. I got good moisture and volume from the SHP.

My WCM 3 piece kit also came with a flat bottle for the oil too. Didn't get the SOB, so can't say for sure.

Hummm, trying to picture a flat bottle. I like the large size that are in glass, there is a very apothecary look to them that appeals to me. I will fill and use the empty bottles with something else. Maybe cooking extracts at some point. I love glass as you can sanitize it and use it again and again.

I am so looking forward to the moisture! I love Fig, but I need a pleasant scent.

I forgot, the smaller oils I buy are 2 ounce. This is my first 1 ounce bottle.

I have to be cautious with volume. I end up looking too poofy. Is it as much as Wen Lav CC?

I'm going to stick with the 2 ounce oils. My stepson hid my 4 ounce TT Oil with the hamster.

I didn't get much volume from LAV, so for me, it's more. But very moisturizing!

Hope you love it! As a fellow FIG user, once you've enjoyed the 'first blush' of the SHP alone, it's a great mixer with FIG. I've upped my 32oz order too.

I got poof from LAV when I used it on consecutive cleanses, so that's good to know.

I did sniff it when I put the pump in. I don't think I can ruin that scent by mixing it with Fig.

There is a set of the "old" 1oz oils on Chaz's site. There have been kits of 3-1oz oils here on the Q, but I don't know if they're coming back...just keep an eye out!

HonnyBrown, I have a feeling you will like the performance of the SHP cc. I think it is the best seasonal yet. I just wish I liked the scent better. I do like the scent of the oil a lot better than the cc and RTM. I will use it because I love how it performs. Performance trumps scent for me in this case. I hope you like it.

CAUTION!!!!!!!!!! be careful with the flat one oz. bottles-- they are much easier to knock over. I earned this the hard way last year w/ my sggt 3 piece kit. I was using the oil for only the first or second time and it was right after my shower and I was trying to add it to my styling crème but with slippery fingers and that not so stable bottle I dropped the dropper right as I was trying to put it back into the bottle and knocked it on the floor. I lost more than half the bottle (though I did scoop a lot off the floor which, luckily, had just been cleaned and used it on my body and hair). i wanted to cry.

so, be very careful. i try to make sure i'm always holding those little one ounce bottles so that i don't knock them over again.

OMG! SHP! I swear, it just keeps getting better. I used i tonight for the 2nd time and my hair looks even more fabulous than it did the first time, which I didn't even think was possible! I never ever in my life thought I could have hair like this, especially with only using a round brush and hair dryer. I only ever had nice hair when I got a professional blowout, and even some stylists had to use an iron on my head. I am going to hoard SHP like there's no tomorrow!
