topic CONDITIONER ONLY CLEANSING in Beauty

I know this has been spoken about before, but after watching the WEN shows last weekend, I was really tempted to buy! I bought once, liked it, but decided it's too expensive. I have done COC in the past, but decided to try it again, using a thick conditioner and applying a lot, (about a palm full for shoulder length hair). It is the first thing I do when I get in the shower, and the last thing I rinse. I have a bottle of conditioner mixed with water that I spray on my hair as a leave-in. My curly hair loves COC, and I think I paid $2.99, so it's certainly economical!

I can't use Wen because I am sensitive to Menthol. I alternate with shampoo/conditoner or just conditioner. I too make own with conditioner as you can ajust the amount of conditoner to hair type. What I do is use Conditioner, Distilled water, Vegetable Gliseren & Argan or Almond oil. (any oil of choice) I have tried so many leave in's & that works the best for me as well.

I'm glad that COC is working for you! I'm the exact opposite of you. COC was an epic fail for me. Sulfates didn't dry my hair out, and they cleanses well. I tried Wen when we were on vacation. It removed silicones and sand from my hair (something COC couldn't do). I've been hooked ever since! As for the cost, it replaces everything that I would have bought on a monthly basis, plus I'm no longer a product junky. Also, Guthy Renker has much better prices for members than Q, so I save money there also.

I can't compare but I do co-wash when I don't have alot of product build-up. Thanks for the reco. on the Wen's kids as I am aware of it.

What I use for shampoos, conditioners & a DIY leave-in are working fine for me. Why fix it, if it ain't broke. Right?
Certainly you can try co-washing with a conditioner. My newest favorite is Acure's Moroccan Argan Stem Cell, Argan oil Conditioner.

I have the SHP and BGT as well as many others and they all have menthol. Kids formulas state the don't have menthol.
