Please recommend - a fragrance free, not heavy or greasy, but effective body lotion

Hi everyone --

I am requesting your help once again.

I am on a search for a very hydrating, fragrance free, body lotion which is not heavy or greasy. It seems like the light ones are not soothing and nurturing enough. And the heavy ones are just too hot and heavy and sticky! Any good suggestions?

There are several versions of CeraVe. The cream in the tub is very heavy (I use it on my feet and hands and elbows) but they no make a lighter lotion that may work for you.

Curel works the best for me. the Vaseline is pretty good as well, both have fragrance free.

Both are somewhat heavy but soak right in. They are not greasy.

Cerave and Cetaphil are not as heavy in the pump bottles but don't moisturize all day for my legs.

Cetaphil in the tub works the best for me. Not greasy at all and you can get it at a great price at Costco.

Aveeno Active Naturals line, they have a daily moisturizing lotion that is non-greasy, absorbs quickly and is fragrance free.

Another vote for Aveeno Active Naturals Daily Moisturizing Lotion. I hate anything greasy and anything with fragrance makes me nauseous. I also have sensitive skin.

Gold Bond Ultimate Healing OR Kiehl's Creme de Corps. I like the one in the pump. Two different price ranges here, of course.

I go to the pool a few times a week so I use the CeraVe in the tub. I get it at Costco or when Walgreens or Ulta have a BOGO sale. It was recommended by my dermatologist also. Ulta & Walgreens are both currently having a buy one get one half off sale. My go to is Dr. Jonathan's Corrective Lotion, from berryworks.com. Both winter and summer. My only issue is dry skin, even though the bottle says "for troubled skin." No fragrance, not greasy, instant absorbing. This line was recommended by Lannie of Wisconsin a few years back.

It wasn't hydrating enough for my face but I love it as a body cream! Did I mention it is under $4 for this HUGE jar?

P.S.: I believe it was rec'd by Dr.Oz as an alternative to a very fancy (and spendy) cream!

I love Aveeno and Curel for non-fragranced body lotions. I have a bottle of Aveeno by my tub and a bottle of Curel and Aveeno with SPF on my desk at work right now.

Thanks so much, everyone! These all sound great. I can't wait to try them. The only problem is --- which one to try first????

Nothing worse in the summer than applying a lotion/cream to your dry, parched skin, and then replacing that feeling with a heavy, greasy, sticky feeling! Iccck!!!
