PTR TSV---Animal Testing?

I LOVE these two products BUT I was alerted to the fact that they test on animals and that disturbs me. Quite a while ago I saw how some places test on dogs and cats and it broke my heart.

well, sorry but he couldn't say that because it is true. CS will tell you that they test "when required by law" which means places like China and he sells his products in China.

Thanks to all of you for alerting everyone about the testing on animals. Says a lot about PTR as a person. I am still baffled that I heard Chaz say the other day that he used a product by PTR (I think it was serum). Guess he was giving a plug for the TSV. I thought Chaz was an animal lover! Shame on him for promoting a product tested on animals. Makes me question his motives. How can he look his dogs in the eye?

I feel the exact same way, Kate! When I look at them and their sweet faces, I can't even imagine them being subjected to that type of thing just for (vain) beauty products. Trust me, I want to look better and stave off wrinkles and aging as much as the next person but not at the expense of animals' torture and lives.

Blondie---that's right! I forgot about that---he always says his nighttime routine includes the Unwrinkle and HE is a big dog lover. Maybe we should alert him on his FB page...

PTR---give the animals a break.

I am always a little disappointed when Chaz says he uses that product too but I can't control what others choose to do, I can only control my choices. As long as he keeps WEN cruelty free, including NOT selling to a parent company that tests, that is all I can ask from him.

I am sure many, if not most, of the people who own companies I buy from use products in their lives and home that are not cruelty free, even if their own product line IS.

I was surprised when I found out PTR tested, as I used a few of his things. Not any more. No product is worth torture and suffering from innocent little animals on my account for my cosmetics. There are many to choose from who do not test.

He is also very misleading in his response when asked about it according to another poster. I don't like that. Be up front with me.

So happy to see others who really care.
