I have fine hair but quite a bit of it. I used Lavender for several years. I think it depends on whether your hair is oily or dry. If it's dry, Lavender is probably not enough moisture. The Tea Tree or Fig have more moisture.

The LAV is so fantastic on my hair - I was expecting it to be drying, but I actually found that it moisturized the best as well as provided me with the most volume!

For reference I have bra strap length, baby-fine, curly, copper hair, and luckily most Wen CC's work for me with the exception of CA, which is supposed to be even more astringent than LAV, strangely enough.

To me Lav is the most drying. I have fine hair too. I like BGT, Fig and 613 the best with BGT being my favorite. I used SAM almost exclusively for two years and loved it too, but I got of the mint scent after a couple of years.

No, lavender was not good for me. Tea Tree fluffs up my fine hair. Cucumber works but has to be rinsed more thoroughly even than normal. Tea Tree worked best for me of all the Wen.

I have baby fine, thin hair. I'm now half gray and it has added some life but it's still pretty fine and limp. I started using Nioxin Hair Thickening Spray and it's like I have a different head of hair! This spray is like a miracle to me. My hair has body, looks full, and does what it's never done before.

I use a Paul Mitchell body shampoo. It is one of few shampoos that doesn't make my hair even softer than it naturally is. Softening with my hair just make it even more limp and lifeless.

I also use a clarifying shampoo twice a week. I know some say that's too often but it works for me. At the very least, use it weekly.

I just realized this is a wen forum so am editing to say...oops. But this is what works for me.

I have long, fine, thin, unprocessed hair and LAV is not my CC of choice. The core CC's that perform best on my hair are TT, BGT and CA (when I need a deep cleanse). I mix in Seasonals/613 for my second cleanse and leave-in.

I have fine, thin hair (and a lot of it -- like many others here!) but it is highlighted. I find the Lavendar does NOT work well for me. I find it drying and when I get out of the shower my hair is tangled.

Side note: Due to my fine hair, *pre-Wen* I used to wash my hair every day with shampoo -- which just makes hair even more oily. So you could say I have an oily scalp, yet LAV not good for me.

So far the best for me is the original CC, Sweet Almond Mind (SAM). But I've only tried LAV, POM, and SAM.

I have fine hair but lots of it. I think maybe straight or curly makes a difference? Mine is stick straight, very curl resistant and flat.

I did not care for LAV the one time I tried it. I've liked BGT, TT, POM, most seasonals, and 613. In fact, I've like everything except my one time with LAV.

Still experimenting to find the best for my style but working with TT and 613 right now and those are doing a good job!

Lav was wonderful for me, for awhile. My hair is fine and thin and color treated. Great volume and silky hair...

Lately my ends are more frizzy though. Yesterday I mixed the Lav with 613 for my second cleanse and it helped a lot!

I think what I may do, since seasonals are working best for me lately, is switch my Lav auto delivery of the March TSV to pomegranate. Time to give POM another good try! I also have that kit coming in BGT which I have to say is a bit better than LAV right now too.

I"m a bit sad about all this, since LAV was like liquid gold to me this time last year.

My hair is baby, baby fine And thin.... Lavender performs best on my hair. Since my hair is so baby fine, I refused to try CC as a leave in for fear it would weigh my hair down. While watching one of Chaz's presentations about a year ago, something clicked. I have been using lavender (no matter which formula I cleanse with) as my leave in. It's fantastic. Moisture and volume. My hair is half way between my chin and shoulders, so I only use a about a pea size and twist twist twist it into my hair.
