I have very short hair and I usually do mine at the kitchen sink and I usually leave the second cleanse on about 5-10 minutes, but I'm retired so I have the time to leave it on as long as I want. If I was still working it would probably be a different story.

I've been using WEN for a few months, but can't figure out how long to leave it in my hair before rinsing. Sure, I leave it in when I'm in the shower -- but let's face it, it only takes me a minute or two to wash my body. So it's not on my hair that long before rinsing (unless I shave, which is an extra 2 minutes).

I have fine, thin hair (but lots of it) and highlighted and right now wash my hair almost every day (I'll go every other day if I'm only at home with w/hair up in a ponytail. Once I sleep on my hair, it goes totally flat!). So I only do one cleanse.

1) So how long do you leave the CC on? As I wash almost every day, leaving it on for more than a minute or two would be long showers and a very long time to get ready in the morning!

2) Also -- which CC would you suggest? I find the lavender quite drying...anyone else find this? And the POM seems to be okay. Also have the 613, but can be a bit too heavy if I use too much.

Okay -- thanks for your help! LOVE this community/forum!!

1) I often only leave my CC in for a minute. When I shave then I'll leave it in longer. I think the key if you don't have time to let it sit, is to really work it in and get a good froth before rinsing.

2) I find lavender to be the most drying. I have found the tea tree to be the most universal for me.

I rinse the first cleanse out as soon as I get the froth going and really massage it in. I leave the second cleanse on for the remainder of my shower. I leave it on while I cleanse my body, face, shave, etc. I rinse my hair last. I usually do a cooler rinse at the end.

I do a double cleanse most times but I think I probably leave the second cleanse in for a about 3 minutes on short showers but can be up to 10 minutes when I adding in shaving, a body scrub, my face cleaning, etc but those longer showers are only couple times a week.

I am not a fan of the lavender either for the same reason. TT is my most used CC.

This winter was shockingly cold! BRRR!
