Paging Cardamom

Hi!

Last week on another thread we were all talking about the launch Lorac's new Pro Palette 2 coming out this week- the 14th or 15th I believe. Well, after stalking it all week on line, I need it. But I still would like to see it in person. Called my Ulta today, and the girl was clueless about it. Had no info at all. Was in there last week, and it was SLOW, and no one even asked if they could help me. They must be having a hard time getting good help. Anyway...have you heard anything? Is your Ulta getting it? Are you?

Hi Janie. The Ulta site says it will be up for sale on line the 15th and it will be in store June 29th. The Lorac FB page also says it will be up on line on the 15th. The manager at my Ulta says it will be in the store the first week of July so I'm not sure exactly when your store will have it out. I know you want to see it in person but I'm sure there will be a ton of YouTube videos on it by the 18th! Hopefully that will help you decide till you see it! I'll post when I get it.

Yes, will definitely be checking out the youtube videos when they start rolling out. I hope EmilyNoel reviews it, I always enjoy her. So let me know when you get it and we'll compare notes! Looking forward to getting my hands on this one (although I really need another palette like a whole in the head, but what is a makeup loving girl to do when it's calling your name, right ??lol)

Tarababyz usually gets everything first! I know, I don't need it either but I think it will really compliment the Pro Palette really nicely! I have already promised myself not to buy another palette till the Pro 3 comes out! . I hope I've hit pan on one of my Lorac palettes by then! I don't have any Naked palettes so that is my excuse. Lol.

There is a new tutorial up on YouTube with the new palette! Sorry I can't seem to find a link but you can type in Lorac pro 2 it's by Sona Gasparian. I'm really excited. It looks much cooler than any of my other palettes (pro, Unzipped and Chocolate Bar.)

OK, just went and checked that video out-yes- agree- it is more cool based (which I love!!). Yes, will definitely be stalking more videos, and I am sure I need this one in my ever- expanding collection! LOL

Ooh thanks Janie. That was a great video. I'm glad she did a matte eye too. The mattes look great. I can't wait to see the plum shade and I'm glad the black is more subdued (than the Pro.) I thought on the shimmer look she did the Rosé looked like light bronze. I paused on the palette and it looks to me like 3 of the shimmer shades are nearly identical and the cocoa looked like Pewter to me (Pro.) Hopefully the videos keep coming. I may have to see it in person or at least some swatches on a video or blog. I want to see the green!

Just checked out the blog you suggested- thank you! I really am intrigued by this one!

I agree- when Carol did the shimmer look (in the other video), I also thought that the "Rose" looked a lot like Bronze. Both gorgeous, wearable shades!

I enjoyed watching her put the shades together- makes me want to do my makeup all over again today LOL!
