So, Who is Using WEN CC as Their Facial Cleanser?

I know some of the forum members have done this, but I haven't kept track of who or their success. I am content with my skin care routine, but last night I was persuaded to try some CC as my facial cleanser so I used about a quarter's worth from my "frankenbottle". Wow, the menthol really woke my face up! I left it on for a couple of minutes (not very long) before removing it with a warm, wet washcloth. I applied my toner, followed by my alpha hydroxy acid gel. My face tingled like it hasn't done in a long time. I didn't use quite as much PM moisturizer as I usually do. My face feels so soft and not a bit oily. I'm wondering, though, if consistent use will cause block and enlarge pores? I'd like to hear about others who are using the CC as a facial cleanser and their success. I'd also like to hear from those who didn't have such great results using the CC this way. Thanks.

I've been using the SOB as a face wash for about a month. And then I use the oils on my damp face as my moisturizer. I haven't used anything else in this time. I love it!! I have noticed all my blackheads are gone, fine lines are a lot harder to see. I used to breakout around my chin, I haven't in over a month! So glad I tried this! I don't think I'll be using anything else from now on! :-) Hope this helps!

I am!!! I have sensitive, oily and acne prone skin. I have had nothing but success with wen as my skincare! I use my bgt as my cleanser. Sometimes I use my clarisonic sometimes not. No clogged pores here, they're actually shrinking! I'm less oily and retaining moisture better too. I use my bgt spray after washing, or sometimes my tt spray. Then I use my tt oil. I love wen!

I don't mean to be a downer and I'm not verbally bashing WEN or Chaz Dean, but you may want to be careful. I don't think conditioners, even cleansing conditioners, were meant for the face. The skin on the face is very delicate. If it's working for you, then that's good, but just be sure to be careful.

I've been doing this for over three months with no problem. Chaz says in his presentations that he does this too. The formula I use has skincare ingredients in it.

I've been using 613 for about 6 months and I like it, most of the time I use my Clarisonic Mia and haven't had any problems , I always use one of the replenishing mist on my face and hair afterwards, 613, Bamboo Green Tea or SOB

I have been using 613 with my clarisonic since sometime last summer. Then I mist my face with TT RTM followed by 4 or 5 drops of TT oil. My skin is clearer, brighter and softer than it has ever been. I rarely get any type of breakout now but before Wen I used to break out frequently. Recently I had a facial after my skin cancer check up at my dermatologists office and the girl complimented my skin and asked me what I used. When I confessed that I used Wen she said she has had a few patients tell her the same thing! In fact, she said she was going to check it out and try it herself! I think I may have posted about it at the time.

JLF,

I used Lav on my face earlier this year. It made my skin peel, which is very odd for me.

During a recent cleanse, I had excess TT and 613 on my hands, so I used that combo on my face. Love it! I'm going to do that a few times a week.

Excellent point! Shampoos and cleansing conditioners are not meant to be used on the delicate skin of the face. Prior to Wen, the lather from my shampoos (sulfate or nonsulfate) would run down my face when I showered. I would get horribly dry patches on my face from that, and it was just from the lather. Imagine if I used the shampoo?

That goes to show how gentle Wen is. Yesterday, I forgot my moisturizer, and I couldn't tell.

I have been using BGT with my Clarisonic since it came out. I alternate it with my PTR cleanser. I am prone to clogged pores. The PTR really helped with that but the BGT has given me more moisture. I have used it as a mask and the results are great with hydration and softness. I have also tried 613 this way. I did not like the way my face felt and I didn't do it again. I also tried SGGT but it is not the most moisturizing anyway though I love it in my hair.

Sometimes I cleanse with it, mostly I put some on as a mask and leave it while I finish my shower. My 59 year old skin is glowing! I've been doing this every day for several months with no problems.

For at least a year, I have been using Wen on my shoulders. They're so extra dry, my dermatologist told me never to use soap or shower gel on them. He gave me an rx for cream. I never filled the rx just used my Wen. The dry skin issue is gone, and I have since been using my CC in place of shower gel. Based on my results, I would say the CC is soothing, moisturizing, and good for your face and body. I used to use the body cleanser, but I get the same results from the CC.

OK, I know this probably sounds crazy, but I did a Cure Aqua Gel exfoliating treatment this morning. I then cleansed with some FAS CC while in the shower. I followed up with toner, Vitamin C serum, and moisturizer, then continued with my primer and a little makeup. This sounds so vain, but I actually stood there looking at myself in the mirror for a minute because my skin looked so nice this morning. I can't say if it's the cleansing conditioner or makeup application, but I was happy with what I saw.

I bought the Tea Tree body cleanser with the intent of using that just on my face. The Tea Tree body cleanser doesn't have the menthol, which I didn't want to use on my face. I liked it, but I wasn't wowed by it. It left my skin balanced and moisturized, but wasn't good for removing my makeup and required an extra step for eye makeup removal, especially. I don't like extra steps, so I switched to a cleansing balm that I'm much happier with.

When I go on vacation, I take a seasonal CC with me and use that as my facial cleanser, body cleanser, shaving cream, hair wash, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner and it works well for that, though I do have to use a makeup remover for eyes.

I'm 54 and have very dry skin. I use any of the CCs for face and body. Usually I use 613, BGT or a seasonal. I think it makes my face feel good! I am using other products for age-fighting, such as Dr. Denese's pads, serum and creams.

My mom started using the TT CC on her face. She's had acne all her life and this is helping her! She is thrilled! She just started so I'll post again after she's used it for awhile.

The only problem I have had with using my Bamboo Green Tea with my Clarisonic is that the CC gets pushed behind the head and I have to take the head off each time and rinse it out. My other regular cleaners don't do that and they rinse cleanly. Maybe it is because the CC is thicker? Haven't figured it out yet.

Otherwise, I like the sensation of the BGT on my skin....it does tingle and seems to wake my skin up! No adverse effects at all.

Motherinlaw. I don't use a Clarisonic but I agree with you that these products are much thicker than most facial cleansers that I have used. I haven't tried them yet as a facial cleanser but will try them and if I like them better it is another product that I wouldn't have to purchase in the future.
