Laura G not truthful about SPACKLE. Like other vendors and hosts.

I use LG's SPACKLE. It does NOT fill in lines, wrinkles or scars. Does NOT.

It DOES provide a nice base for my foundation going on smoothly, which is why I use it.

She and other vendors and hosts do the same with other products. Terrible.

Vendors are advised to claim that their products can improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Emphasis on appearance....no product works for everyone.

Actually, I find it DOES fill in my little lines quite well.

No product is going to work on 100% of the women all the time because we all have different issues ...... and some peoples' wrinkles and lines are worse than others.

This doesn't mean Laura Geller is lying ..... if it doesn't work for you as well as you'd like, then just send it back.

yes, just like Josie Maran says argan oil makes wrinkles disappear. They all exaggerate beyond belief. Legally, I am not sure how they get away with some of the things they say.

Sorry OP. It does fill on my fine lines. Just as other poster said, somethings work for some and other products work for you. I wouldn't say she lied or is misleading. It has worked wonderful for me.

it pays to try things because nothing works the same on everyone. I, personally, like too faced and Nyx primers (identical products by the way with the exception that one is much cheaper) but people have different skin issues and skin types and they may not work for them at all.

I think if we have deep wrinkles/expression lines (like I do) nothing is going to fill them in. I don't even pay attention to that anymore because I know they're referring more to FINE lines. I wish, though!

Ellaphant....I always hate to see someone make such a prouncement, it is rude and offensive to me. So the product did not work for you, so it may work for others. Nothing, even higly rated medications, works for everyone...so try another product and move on.

It is always good to read the reviews first.

Of course, some people are always negative and expect miracles so they will always be disappointed.

I am a fan of spackle but I agree with the OP - it doesn't fill in anything. It simply makes your MU go on better and stay on better.

I like the primers for my pores and to matify after using one of those darn sunscreens that leave me looking so shiny and greasy!

I don't have a problem with argan oil in general- I use it from time to time and like it. I'm just saying that it will not make wrinkles disappear, it just can't. That claim is ridiculous.

I like some Laura Geller products but Spackle is not one of them.

I didn't expect it to fill lines but I did expect to be mattifying. Not only did it not mattify, it felt greasy and made my skin look shiny and sparkly, which I do not like.

Nothing like other primers I have used.

I ended up using it on my legs. It was fine for that. Looked good with shorts, but I would never use it on my face again.

Just not for me.

Well, of course they do. They're trying to sell their products!

I have very rarely bought a beauty product that did everything it claimed to do, and most of the time I don't expect it to because a lot of it is clearly hype and sales pitch talk. Just the other day during a Philosophy presentation, Dara was going on & on about Philosophy being able to give all women "flawless skin". That's nonsense!

I've tried pretty much every primer out there. Not one has ever done the slightest thing for me despite huge claims, testimonials, and everything else. If you feel that Spackle provides a nice base, I think you're ahead of the game. It did absolutely nothing for me. So clearly results vary.

The beauty business is big business exactly because women are largely paying for the dream of flawless skin, a more youthful appearance, or whatever. This is nothing new, and I think it's safe to assume that most claims are greatly exaggerated. I take all of it with a huge grain of salt. It's been that way forever, and it's not going to change. Expecting too much is going to lead to a whole lot of disappointment.
