Help: Love vanilla but haven't liked anything Philosophy; will I like Fresh Cream?

I absolutely love vanilla anything, but is Fresh Cream ALL HYPE or do I just order on good faith? It's sitting in my cart!

It's super sweet. I like the grocery store Suave or Tone or Caress or SoftSoap vanilla wash better, to be honest.

i think so.

i love fresh cream and so does my husband.

it smells like fresh whipped cream to both of us. not overly sweet at all.

I never like Philosophy scents, but I tried the Fresh Cream last winter. I was amazed at how much I enjoyed it. The body lotion especially is divine, IMO. I put it on after a shower before going to bed and DH always comments that I smell like a marshmallow. IMO, it is not sweet because I couldn't stand it if it smelled like that to me. It's sort of "girlie" in a way, I wouldn't call it "sophisticated". Just a real feel-good treat for yourself.

I love any and everything vanilla too! I really like Fresh Cream...to me it's not sweet at all....it's a fresh-smelling vanilla. If you remember the Bath and Body Works scent called Fresh Vanilla, it reminds me of that. If you decide to order, I hope you like it!

i just read a review on frangratica and someone said it smells like you just walked into coldstone creamery and i think they're right. it's a heavenly and comforting scent.

You should love it! IMO it doesn't have an overly "clean" scent that Philosophy is known for, I don't even like Pure Grace because of that, it's very subtle, and dissipates quickly once you are out of the shower, so it won't interfere with your perfume. Hope that makes sense! I didn't even realize it was a 64oz size until after I ordered it, I just snapped it up!

It's hard for anyone else to know if you will like a scent or not, regardless of their opinion. I don't think I would try a new scent in a 64oz size because to me, that is huge. You might want to consider the 8oz duo of bath & shower cream and lotion first. I know that is on both Philosophy and Ulta's site and may be available elsewhere as well.

Personally, I think Fresh Cream is either a love it or hate it fragrance. I bought it thinking I would love it, the smell was not appealing to me. Sent it back! Really did not know if anyone would enjoy it to give it as a gift. For all who love it, I am happy for you.

IT IS NOT SWEET. I hate sweet, but I love this. I have it in all rooms! It is a light, calming vanilla scent!

Its a very warm scent not sweet. Reminds me of fresh Devonshire Cream that you spread on a scone. Lovely!

I only have the hand cream or body cream and shower gel and I love it.....my neighbor did not like it and gave it to me. Smells so nice but it is not a strong smell.

It's very sweet to me, you probably need to smell it for yourself since some people don't think it's too sweet.
