My DH loves Tea Tree, once I got him to try it - lol. It takes care of dandruff and also helps with new hair growth. Your husband's dandruff shampoo is drying out his scalp and making a vicious cycle. And, BTW, don't worry about how much he uses or how he uses it - if he wants to use about the same amount as his shampoo, let him - any amount will help.

What would you suggest for a husband used to dandruff shampoos? I would like to get him to at least try WEN. His hair is thinning.

Tea Tree is supposed to be good with dandruff and hair growth. You need to specify if his hair is dry, thin, etc for other suggestions. There are some kits with TT. Remember TT has a scent similar to Vicks Vapor Rub.

Good Luck.

I agree, tea tree works wonders for "scalp issues". It does have a strong, medicinal scent, but I've come to enjoy it. It's invigorating.

My husband does one rinse only and he washes his hair everyday. And to be honest with you, he uses his Nexxus S & C once a week. He likes the Kid's SB, the best and also uses Fig. If he is happy, I am happy for him.

I only use Wen.

My DH who finds fault with anything and everything loves tea tree, I couldn't believe the man has not one negative thing to say about Tea tree , Wen or Chaz. Gave him the bamboo last week and he loved it SO much, he's paying for the gallon. He's partially bald, hair is now white. Believe me men love tea tree. I even got him to use the oils now.
