I found a great color preserving shampoo!

Ion Color Solutions SULFATE FREE shampoo.

I colored my hair last sunday and been shampooing daily with no color loss. it is very thick and smells like grapefruit but a light grapefruit. Found at sallys. Also watch the labels for they have a sulfate version in a simular bottle

Does the ""sulfate-free"" mean it doesn't lather?

it lathers its a low lather but it definately lathers. The cleansers is much more gentle than sulfates

Wow, I've used and liked their mousse, but never the shampoo. I LOVE grapefruit scented things so I will definitely try it. Thanks for the recommendation.

Another great shampoo is KENRA - found at ULTA and some salons. Love it! Shampoo and conditioner are great!

I really love nexxus phyto organics extreme moisture(drugstore.com) smells like sandalwood and lime and your hair soaks it up!

With the Ion I been using Ion Color Solutions After Color Sealer . I do not know how but the use of the 2 ion products has extended my color. No fade so far. It has a mild scent.
