If you want to try threading, go for it. I've done both and either way is really fine, just a matter of preference. For me, it's a 30 minute drive to the mall where the threading place is, not to mention hunting for a parking place, or a 5 minute drive to the salon where my daughter works and she can wax them for me and I'm out of there in no time at all. She does a really good job so I'll just keep waxing.

I just had mine threaded today for the first time and it went great! It was super fast!! Maybe 5 minutes from the time I sat in the chair till the time I got up! No kidding! I had her do my stache too and it was only $16 for both!

Pain wise, I don't think it's that bad, no worse then waxing for sure. I decided to try the threading because the last time I had them waxed (6 yrs ago) I had a bad reaction to the was and it left my skin pink for weeks! It wasn't burned just irritated. With the threading the pinkness lasted maybe 30 minutes if that.

I plan on doing it more often for sure! I would highly recommend it!

Yet another ancient art that has been passed down for generations that is gaining a popularity in the West. I love it when that happens! Usually a lot of ppeople discount it as a "fad" (like Dermarolling) yet eventually it gains acceptance and becomes "normal".

I haven't tried it yet, but plan to!

I've been threaded for years. It is not pleasurable, but fine. Happy with the results. Thought I'd try waxing again. Walked out with like 8 hairs where my eyebrows used to be. I looked like a huge idiot. It was then that I realized what eyebrow pencils were for! Back to threading I went...

Threading is more precise and kinder to your skin. Just pick the right place and make sure your face is super clean. I had my cheeks threaded which worked beautifully except for the breakout that followed, probably due to bacteria.
