Scent of Perricone Products

Just today finally tried my sample of Face Finishing Moisturizer. Like the consistency however, the smell hit my lungs as soon as I took off the top. Grabbed an inhaler and it's all good. Does anyone know if all the products have the same scent. Specifically, I had been interested in trying the Hypoallergenic Moisturizer with the green label. Anyone who has tried both lines?

I had to wash it off my face, and it am not sensitive to scents. It smelled like bad rose perfume! I think smell is an issue with Perricone products in general.

I only know of two Perricone products that have a rose scent, the Neuropeptide Deep Wrinkle Serum and his Face Finishing Moisturizer. I am not a fan of the rose scent either. I haven't tried his hypoallergenic moisturizer, but I have the Hypoallergenic Firming Eye Cream and there is a very mild scent that is not unpleasant, nor does it smell like roses.

While scents in the Perricone line (I use a lot of prodcuts in the line) almost never bother me --- I'm not a fan of rose scents anywhere. I use the Neuropeptide Face Firming Moisturizer though and it definitely has a rose scent. Took me a long while to find a moisturizer that I really like so I just put up with it.

I have been using Neuropeptide face firming Moisturizer for about a year and a half and when I first received it, the smell really upset me. However, I used it and noticed that the smell vanished as soon as I put it on my skin. Don't smell it at all once it's on.

I feel like the Face Finishing Moisturizer has such a strong scent because it's supposed to be applied over his Cold Plasma, which smells like fish and stinks horribly. The strong rose scent of the Face Finishing Moisturizer masks the fish smell of the Cold Plasma and is the only thing that does.

I realize I'm swimming upstream (lol) but I love Cold Plasma and the scent not only doesn't bother me, I happen to like it~!! And yes - I have a very sensitive nose when it comes to fragrances. What I don't like are skin care products that have perfumey fragrances.

I too tried P's Finishing Moisturizer recently. I was going for a mammogram. The smell was so strong, I was afraid the tech would think it was body lotion on my breasts. That's the first thing they ask is if you have any deodorant or lotions on. I washed it off. Whew! I've never used anything for the face with that strong a smell. Mine came with the Beauty Benefits bag. I could never wear anything that strong. Thanks for the post on the fish smell: another to stay away from. This is why I love the Beauty Board. You can avoid mistakes.

I can't stand the fake rose smell in the face finishing moisturizer. I threw away the sample that came in the beauty with benefits bag.

I love the NP firming moisturizer and it does NOT smell anything like roses to me, maybe a little medicinal, but nothing strong or objectionable. The NP deep wrinkle serum does smell like roses and for some reason that scent doesn't bother me. It doesn't smell fake like the face finishing moisturizer does. I think the Concentrated Restorative had a faint (pleasant) rose smell, too. I don't know if that's even available anymore.

I'm very sensitive to scents. If it's a smell I hate, I'll smell it all day until I wash it off. None of the Perricone products I use have an objectionable smell.

Let me begin with Dana is a doll. However, the Perricone products are not magic on my skin. Perhaps it is my skin. The price is amazingly high oh and the smell hahaaa was called on it by my husband!!! He said do you have something new on? I told him it was skin care. He said is it horse bleep bleep? I laughed so hard. So did he.
